Background
The Unemployment of University Graduates

Although the unemployment rate in August 2023 was lower, but 7.8 million
people were still unemployed, and this number will be increased by the new
graduates who will search for jobs every year as well as the addition because of
termination of employment due to pension or other cases.

Another critical factor is that the employment world tends to require the
candidates to have not only knowledge but also skills and experiences related
to the field of work that they apply. This is difficult for the university graduates
who are freshly graduated and have no skills and experience on the related field
of employment.

The “Fading” World of Start Up

The second alternative option that is usually taken by university graduates is


establishing a start up business by looking for investors/funders that will pour in
money to burn into the business.

Unfortunately, with the current gloomy economy condition, start up investors


are really focusing their financial resources on companies that can make their
money grow & produce positive cash flows. Something that normally can not be
provided by a start up who tends to burn money in the beginning years of their
business cycle.

The third alternative option that is usually available for university graduates is to
become a professional in a certain field of expertise, such as: doctor, notary,
attorney, etc.

However, each of such profession will have a specific pre-requirements that

Service 1: Virtual Safe Deposit Box (VSDB)

We provide Virtual Safe Deposit Box (VSDB) service which enable our clients to store
their important estate data in our highly secured virtual safe deposit box with AES256
security system as used by Pentagon & NSA of the USA Government. Any misfortune
happens to our clients, such as caused by dementia or even sudden death, their
estates will surely be passed on the pre-appointed heirs by the client’s will.
This asset tracking system for individual is the one and only innovation in the world
currently.

Currently, CIEM Program is the only program on estate management
(estate planning) in Indonesia which is accredited by The Government
as well as by internationally body (International Accreditation
Forum/IAF), making the CIEM degree is recognized in more than 124
countries as per the IAF accreditation coverage. This assures the strict
quality assurance in the process of competencies assessment of the
participants.

The CIEM Program Structure
Duration
The CIEM Program duration will last for four (4) days, of which three (3)
days will be for modules learning & practices and one (1) day for final
examination.
The execution of those four (4) days activities, can be done in two
options, the first option is to have them executed in four (4) days
consecutively, without any off-days for modules rehearsing or resting
by the participants. The second option is to have the first two (2) days
executed in a given Friday & Saturday and then provide one (1) week
break for the participants to rehearse the modules & rest, then the
next two (2) days are plotted in the next week Friday & Saturday.
The client can choose which option is suitable for them or can also
propose another option of execution schedule which will be reviewed
by Ohana Academy for our schedule suitability.

Venue
The CIEM Program can be conducted either on-line (via Zoom
application) or off-line at the pre-appointed venue by the client.
The on-line execution of the CIEM program will require the participants
to have pre-downloaded & installed the Zoom application in their
smart phones, iPad, computer, lap top or other devices.

Recording
In line with our core value of always searching for excellence in what
we do, therefore, every CIEM Program execution will be recorded for
program execution analysis & evaluation for future improvement &
enhancement.

Final Exam (Certification Test)
The final exam (certification test) will be conducted on-line using the
State-standard test platform.

The final exam will consist of the following components:


1. Technical competencies of Estate Management (100 multiple
choice questions & 10 essay questions)
→ 60% weight
2. Managerial competency (100 multiple choice questions)
→ 25% weight
3. Personality (Psycho) Test (90 multiple choice questions)
→ 5% weight
4. National Insight Test (100 multiple choice questions)
→ 5% weight
5. English Test (30 multiple choice questions)
→ 5% weight

Participant Basic Requirements
01 Basic Education Level
Each participant must have at least under graduate title (S1) of any
major. Students with SMA/SMK degree can apply with certain
dispensation (must currently undergoing university/college education).

02 Professional Experience
Participant who have two to three years of experience in the field of
banking / insurance / notarial services / legal services / business
leadership (GM or Director level) will have utmost advantages in this
program.

03 Key Documents Requirement


Upon registration, each participant must submit the following key
documents :
a. Latest Bio (Personal) Data
b. Self Integrity Statement (form will be provided on-line)
c. CIEM Certification Request (form will be provided on-line)
d. Participant’s portfolio:
i. Copy of ID (KTP)
ii. Latest CV
iii. Last Education Level Certificate (at least S1)
iv. Structural / Functional Appointment Letter (Business /
Academic / Organizations will do)
v. Relevant Training Certificates

The CIEM Learning Modules
00 The Importance of Competence Standard
Focus of learning will be on the individual competence standard to gain
trust as a respected professional in the related profession.

01 Basic of Financial Planning


Focus of learning will be on the individual financial planning for
retirement, kids education, etc.

02 Wealth Management
The participants will learn how to manage their wealth through
accumulating process, assets allocation based on risks appetite & ages,
etc.

03 Basic Estate Management & Inheritance Planning


Through deep learning, cases study & exercises, the participant will
obtain knowledge on the basic estate management & inheritance
planning in Indonesia & globally (civil law vs common law, etc.)

04 International Estate Management & Inheritance Practices


This is one of the participants’ favourite module, as it gives them knowledge
& exercises practice on how the estates will go through probate process or
not, estate & inheritance taxation, international civil law as well as country
specific laws on estate & inheritance.
Countries of deep learning focus will be Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, &
USA as these four countries are where Indonesian people have the highest
of assets allocation overseas. Other countries will be covered as well in an
snapshot basis

05 Estate Management in Marriage or Divorce
The participants will learn how estate management plays a very important
role in anticipating any possible risks affecting the estate owners during
their marriage or divorce phase, and how to prepare the solution using the
best estate planning tools, such as insurance, etc.

07 Prenuptial & Postnuptial Agreement


This module will cover all details as per The Indonesian civil laws on the
prenuptial & postnuptial agreement, which will give significant impact on
the estates management during the stage of pre & after marriage.

08 Last Will / Testament


The participants will learn how a will / testament can change the estate
distribution from the inheritance practices as per the civil law regulation to
the distribution of estate based on the last wishes of the estate owner as
stipulated in his/her will / testament. Focus of learning will also on type of
wills, regulations on validity of a will, execution of a will, contesting of a will,
etc.

09 Hibah, Gift, Prize & Legitime Portie


This module will give a detailed understanding on the difference among
hibah, gift and Prize according the Civil Law of Indonesia & their impacts on
the estate transfer process, the legal consequences, the taxations impacted,
as well as the absolute inheritance rights (legitime portie) power of the
legitimarists.

10 Faraidh, KHI and Adat (Traditional Ethnic) Law
Learning focus of this module will be on the moslem estate & inheritance
laws (Faraidh vs KHI) and the basic principles of the traditional ethnic (adat)
laws in Indonesia.

11 Wealth Cancers
The participants will learn deeply on the definition of wealth cancers, and
how they can reduce someone’s wealth gradually or make them gone at
once, how to identify the risk potentials & prepare the mitigative solutions
using estate planning tools, such as annuities, insurance, etc.

12 Family Business Wealth Transfer


This module will give a deep coverage on how family business wealth shall
be transferred from one generation to the next generation(s), including the
risks assessment and their mitigative solutions as well as steps that heirs
must do when they receive such inheritance from the previous generation.

** Court Case Sharing (Optional)
At the end of the learning modules, we will provide a real court case sharing
by Ohana Legal Partner. This will enable the participants to know how the
real legal case of estate & inheritance happens and how the court will make
final decisions.

** Important Notes
In each of the modules learned by the participants, many real cases will be
provided as example of practices. The participants will be taught on how to
find the root causes of the case, identify the potential risks and prepare
the best demonstrated solutions using estate planning tools, such as
annuities, sum insured contracts, trust, etc., which will apply the gold
standards used by the global / international estate planning professionals.

The Program Quality Assurance
Witnessing by The State Assessor
The execution of any stage of CIEM Program will be witnessed by at
least one State Assessor in order to maintain the pre-required quality
standard given by the Government of Indonesia through its National
Accreditation Committee (KAN). The findings will be used by the
Government Body to give advices or suggestions for improvement to
Ohana Academy.

certificates. One certificate from the Program Owner/Organizer, which is in this case
is Ho’okahi Academy and the certificate issued by the Government, in this case is

Marketing & Campaign of CIEM & EMP Program
01. Object of Partnership
The object of this partnership is:

a) Certified International Estate Management (CIEM) Program, an estate


management certification program accredited by The Government of
Indonesia through its KAN (Komite Akreditasi Nasional) and IAF
(international Accreditation Forum), of which the program is owned by
Ho’okahi Ohana Academy.
Total modules = 12 modules. Completion Time: 3 Days + 1 Day for Exam

b) Estate Management for Practitioner (EMP) Program, an estate


management certification program for those who want to apply estate
management / inheritance planning in his/her advisory practice in
Indonesia. EMP is the first phase of learning the estate management /
inheritance planning knowledge, and participants of this EMP program
can continue or upgrade their knowledge and skill to CIEM Program by
taking some related modules more and go through an accreditation
certification final test.
Total modules = 4 modules. Completion Time : 2 Days @ Half Day Each

The Proposed Partnership
Marketing & Campaign of CIEM & EMP Program
03. Partnership Coverage
The coverage of this partnership is in marketing, promotion and campaign
of CIEM and EMP Program to the students of University of Jayabaya,
particularly the Faculty of Law.

04. Roles & Responsibilities of the Partner


The roles & responsibilities of Partner will be:
a. Conduct marketing, promotion & campaign of CIEM Program to the
targeted market segment by the Partner (students of University of
Jayabaya, particularly, the Faculty of Law students)
b. On collective offline CIEM Program conducted at the Partner site
(minimum 25 participants), the Partner will be the party to provide the
venue as well as other requirements of the event (sound system, white
board, etc).
05. Partner Compensation
For every CIEM or EMP Program participant who has been referred to
Ohana Academy by The Partner, a compensation will be given to the
partner.

06. Length of Partnership


The partnership contract will be three years, but can be extended if both
parties (Ho’okahi Ohana Academy and the Partner) agree.
