ASSIGNMENT: 03
IoT In Agriculture
IoT In Agriculture:
Internet of Things (IoT) in agriculture is the use of smart devices and software to
improve the efficiency and profitability of farming operations. IoT in agriculture
connects physical components, like plants, animals, and tools, to the internet to
enable communication and information exchange. This allows farmers to monitor
and manage their farms in real time. Some examples of IoT in agriculture is
temperature monitoring, livestock tracking, etc.
CONCLUSION
IoT in agriculture enhances efficiency, sustainability, and productivity by using
connected devices to monitor crops, soil, and weather in real time. It helps farmers
optimize resources, reduce costs, and improve yields while minimizing
environmental impact. As technology evolves, IoT will play a key role in shaping
smarter, more sustainable farming practices.
