Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers.
Question: How do you develop your teaching practices in accordance with the existing
laws that apply to teaching and the responsibilities specified in the Code of Ethics for
Professional Teachers? How do you develop your teaching practice in accordance with
existing regulations?
Answer: As a teacher, I make sure to regularly review the existing laws and regulation
that apply to the teaching profession, as well as the responsibilities specified in the Code of
Ethics for professional Teachers. I always make sure that I know and I am aware of the roles
and responsibilities of a teacher. I have not been involved in any conflict regarding my role as
a teacher. At the end of my day, I self-reflect in all of the things I’ve done inside the
classroom and to the learners. I seek their help every time and take their advices. I listen to
their constructive criticisms and learn from them. I reflect on it too so that I will be able to do
better next time.
This helps me to ensure that my teaching practice is in compliance with the relevant
legal and ethical standards. To develop my teaching practice in accordance with these laws
and regulations, I stay informed about any updates or changes that may occur. I reflect on
my teaching methods and strategies and consider ways to adopt them to meet the changing
needs of my students and the requirements of the curriculum. Overall, I am committed to
upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in my teaching practice, and I make
sure to stay informed and upgraded on any changes or developments in the field.
Objective 8: Adopt practices that uphold the dignity of teaching as a profession by
exhibiting the qualities such as caring attitude, respect and integrity.
Question: In which practices do you show care, respect and integrity to learners,
colleagues, parents and other education stakeholders? How do these practices uphold the
dignity of the teaching profession?
These practices uphold the dignity of the teaching profession by fostering positive
relationships, building trust among stakeholders, and creating a sense of belonging for all. By
consistently care, respect and integrity, I aim to contribute to the overall positive reputation
of the teaching profession and uphold its standards of excellence.
Answer: The activity that joined was being a Community Learning Facilitator at Lapay
National High School, during those times, they assigned me to teach Grade 12-GAS and the
subject was "Introduction to World Religion and Belief Systems". These experiences
enriched my instructional strategies and fostered a classroom environment where students
felt encouraged to express their opinions and engage in thoughtful discussions.
Question: Carlene is suffering from deficiency by shortcomings in her learning areas, seen
unfocused and restless in synchronous class. Neither was she unable to pass her activities,
she also had difficulty in understanding and following the instructions given by her teachers
and classmates.
Objective 10: Adapted and used culturally appropriate teaching strategies to address the
needs of learners from indigenous groups.
Answer: Education is regarded as a human right in and of itself and an essential tool
for achieving other human rights and fundamental freedoms. It is the door through which
economically and socially underprivileged people can rise beyond poverty and fully access
the resources they need to engage in their communities fully. As a result, education is
critical for the enjoyment, preservation, and transmission of indigenous cultures, languages,
customs, and knowledge.
The given assessment above will provide the learners with their choice. This
intercultural approach will boost positive community life between individuals from various
cultures and religions by focusing on individuals as a central element and holders of right. Set
A will allow the students who respect mayors, councilors and medical officers to conduct
their assessment, while Set B will let the indigenous learners do their interviews with their
datu/chieftain, community elders and healers. This can help us understand the student’s
preferences, strengths and weaknesses when communicating and how these can help or
hinder us when communicating across culture.
Answer: I would address the disruptive behavior privately with the student, discussing
expectations and consequences. If the behavior persists, I would involve the student's
parents and collaborate with them to develop a plan for improvement.

ensure that each student's needs are met?

approach this conversation?
Answer: I would schedule a meeting with the parent to discuss their concerns, actively
listening to their perspective and providing updates on their child's progress. I would
collaborate with the parent to develop strategies for support both at home and in the
classroom.
4. Two students in your class are involved in a disagreement. How would you facilitate
resolution while maintaining a positive classroom environment?
Answer: I would facilitate a calm and respectful discussion between the students
involved, allowing each to share their perspective and feelings. I would help them find
common ground and work towards a resolution that respects everyone's dignity and
restores a positive classroom atmosphere.
5. Your school is implementing a new technology tool. How would you incorporate it into your
teaching to enhance student learning?
Answer: I would undergo training on the new technology tool to become proficient in its
use. I would then incorporate it into my lessons in a way that enhances student engagement
and learning, providing opportunities for hands-on exploration and real-world application.
6. You notice some students struggling with a concept. How would you modify your
assessment strategy to ensure their understanding?
Answer: I would provide additional support and resources for struggling students, such
as one-on-one instruction, peer tutoring, or alternative assessments. I would also revisit the
concept through different teaching methods to reinforce understanding.
7. Describe a time when you collaborated with colleagues to enhance student learning. What
was the outcome?
Answer: In a recent project, I collaborated with colleagues from different subject areas
to create an interdisciplinary unit. We shared resources, aligned learning objectives, and
coordinated assessments to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience
that integrated multiple perspectives.
