TOPIC 1: ONE WORLD

Person A: Hey! Long time no see! Do you have any plans for the upcoming Tet
holiday?
Person B: Hi! Yes, I’m planning to visit Japan! I’ve always wanted to experience
its culture and traditions.
Person A: That sounds fantastic! What places do you want to visit in Japan?
Person B: I really want to see Kyoto for its beautiful temples and cherry blossoms.
Plus, I’m excited to try authentic sushi and ramen!
Person A: Kyoto is amazing! I’ve heard the cherry blossoms are stunning in
spring. Are you going to participate in any traditional festivals?
Person B: Yes! I plan to attend Hanami, which is the cherry blossom viewing
festival. People gather in parks to enjoy the blossoms and have picnics. It’s such a
beautiful tradition!
Person A: That sounds wonderful! I love how Japan values its traditions. Are you
also going to visit any other cities?
Person B: Yes sure! I want to go to Tokyo for its modern vibe and then maybe
Hiroshima to learn about its history.
Person A: Great choices! Japan has such a rich culture. I hope you have an
amazing trip!
Person B: Thanks! I can’t wait to share my experiences with you when I get back!
TOPIC 2: MY LIFE

Person A: Hey! How’s your day going?

Person B: Hi! It’s going oki, thanks! Just finished my classes. How about you?
Person A: Same here! I’m trying to balance my studies and social life. It can be
tough sometimes.
Person B: I know what you mean. Living in Ho Chi Minh City is exciting, but it
can also be overwhelming with all the responsibilities.
Person A: Exactly! I miss my family back in Đồng Nai. It’s nice to have their
support, especially during stressful times.
Person B I feel the same way. My family is in Quảng Ngãi, and I miss them a lot.
We talk on the phone every day, though.
Person A: That’s good! I try to call my parents every few days. They always give
me great advice about managing my time.
Person B: Yes, my parents do the same. They remind me to take breaks and not to
overwork myself. Do you get to go home often?
Person A: Not really. It’s quite far, so I usually go home during the holidays. But I
enjoy exploring the city in the meantime.
Person B: Me too! There’s so much to see and do here. Have you discovered any
favorite spots?
Person A: I love going to the parks and trying out street food. It’s a great way to
relax after classes.
Person B: Absolutely! I enjoy the coffee shops around here. They’re perfect for
studying and hanging out with friends.
Person A: We should go to one together sometime! It would be nice to take a
break after finishing studying
Person B: That sounds like a plan! Let’s make it happen soon.
TOPIC 3: DAY OF OUR LIVES

Person B: Hi! I’m doing well, thanks! I just got back from a trip to the mountains.
The scenery was beautiful! Do you want to hear about it?
Person A: Sounds interesting! I’d love to know where you went and what you did.
Person B: I went to Da Lat. I did some hiking and saw some amazing waterfalls.
The weather was really pleasant too!
