INTRODUCTION
I am Ayush Rawat,a Delhi native since birth. My family is a nuclear unit,
consisting of myself, my parents, and my sister. My mother tends to our
household, while works as unit manager in the Caterman Cuisine
Concepts PVT. LTD. and currently serves at Shri Ram Global School . I
have received acceptance into Yorkville University's BBA program
and am eager to commence my academic journey there.
The upcoming statement of purpose will delve into my academic

background, familial influences, and the pivotal decision to
chooseCanada , and specifically Yorkville university, as the destination for
my undergraduate studies. With a strong commitment to contribute
meaningfully to my family's business and aspirations of working in
multinational companies, the journey outlined in this statement reflects
my dedication and strategic choices in shaping a promising career in the
dynamic world of business.
ACADEMICS
I have a strong foundation in my academic journey, having completed my
Class 10th under the CBSE curriculum at Mamta Modern Sr. Sec.
School, Vikaspuri, as part of the 2019-2020 batch. During this
period, I secured a commendable 62.5%, laying the groundwork
for my subsequent educational endeavours.
Building upon this, I pursued my Class 12th education in the
humanities stream at Mamta Modern Sr. Sec. School in the 2021-
2022 batch. Despite achieving a notable 75.2%, I came to the
realisation that this stream did not align with my aspirations. Motivated by
my desire to contribute to the growth of my maternal uncle's business of
steel and electronics , a venture I hold close to my heart, I made the bold
decision to change my academic path.
I appeared for the IELTS exam on 15thJUNE,2023 in which I scored
overall 6.5 bands, with no less than 6 bands in each module in it
(L-7, R-,6 W-6.5, and S-6.5).
EXTRA CURRICULAR
Sports hold an integral role in shaping my character and identity outside
of academics. As a fervent football enthusiast, I have actively participated
in various competitive events, represented my school in inter-zone
and district-level leagues . I also,represented delhi state in
reliance youth league 2019-20 and stood first in north zone india
. My passion for the sport led me to attend the Delhi Dynamos
trial camp, where I further honed my skills under professional guidance.
Currently, I proudly contribute to the success of Garhwal Diamond
Club as an active team player from 2022. During my school years, I
was a dedicated player for Young Bengal Association , Hindustan
Football Academy and Baichung Bhutia Football School and played
several youth leagues , where I not only refined my techniques but also
imbibed invaluable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. For
me, sports and studies share equal importance, as they both contribute
significantly to my personal growth and holistic development.
WHY CANADA
In my quest for the perfect educational destination, I meticulously
researched various universities and countries, prioritising quality
education above all. Canada stood out as the epitome of academic
excellence, offering not only top-notch education but also a
myriad of other benefits. The renowned quality of life in Canada,
coupled with its inclusive and diverse society, resonated deeply with
me. Furthermore, the unparalleled flexibility and high standards of
education offered in Canada, particularly at the bachelor's level,
solidified my decision.
One of the pivotal factors in my decision was the recognition of

Canadian degrees on a global scale, particularly in comparison to
Indian qualifications. A graduate certificate from a Canadian institution
holds immense value to employers worldwide, including in India. This
recognition ensures a promising future and long-term return on
investment, making Canada an irresistible choice for my higher
education journey.

In my pursuit of advanced education, I conducted extensive research to
identify the perfect institution for my postgraduate studies. Yorkville
University swiftly emerged as the foremost choice, distinguished by its

ventures of my maternal uncle, Vinod Negi, I embarked on a
transformative academic journey. Witnessing his unwavering dedication
and the positive impact of his businesses, including 'Aayushman Electro
and Electric' and 'Ayushman Steel', inspired me deeply. However, after
realizing that my initial academic path in humanities did not align with my
aspirations, I made the bold decision to redirect my focus towards
business administration.
Conversations with my uncle illuminated areas where his businesses could

thrive with strategic marketing and supply chain management
approaches. Recognizing the invaluable synergy between my academic
pursuits and our family's enterprises, my uncle generously sponsored my
education, emphasising the significance of familial involvement in driving
success. This support affirmed my conviction to pursue a Bachelor of
Business Administration (BBA) at Yorkville University, where I am eager to
acquire a comprehensive understanding of business principles and
marketing strategies.
The prospect of completing the BBA program excites me not only

for the knowledge and skills it will impart but also for theThe

awaiting me back in my home country, India. The business landscape in
India is thriving, and with a degree from a renowned institution, I aim to
secure a position that not only leverages my skills but also contributes to
the growth of my family's business.Upon completing my bachelors degree,
I aspire to explore career opportunities with reputable companies in the
field of marketing. Some notable companies in India where I envision
applying my skills include multinational corporations like
Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Aditya
Birla Group. These organizations, renowned for their diverse business
portfolios, offer dynamic roles for marketing specialists with competitive
salaries. Furthermore, venturing into the international job market,
companies like Google, and Coca-Cola are on my radar for their global
presence and emphasis on marketing excellence.
Moreover, recognizing the needs of my family's business, I plan to

integrate my academic learning and hands-on experience. The business,
currently overseen by my uncle, lacks a robust marketing strategy. Upon
completing my bachelors, I envision taking charge of the family
business, utilizing the skills acquired during my education.
Additionally, pursuing a master's degree, possibly at esteemed institutions
is part of my long-term plan. This advanced education will not only
enhance my expertise but also open doors to more significant career
opportunities, allowing me to contribute meaningfully to both the
corporate world and our family enterprise.
