S Global Biofuel Alliance (GBA) was recently launched by world leaders to expedite the global
uptake of biofuels, under India’s G20 presidency.
S Pradhan Mantri JI-VAN Yojana for providing financial support to Advanced Biofuel.
S PSU, OMC & Private Sectors driving the biofuel sector through SATAT Scheme
S SAMARTH Mission driving the energy power of NTPC
S GAIL will be initially setting up 10 CBG projects with an investment of about Rs 600 crore.
S Oil India is investing 25,000 crore to achieve net zero by 2040, in areas including 2G
ethanol, green hydrogen, compressed biogas (CBG) and solar power.
S Reliance, now India's leading bio-energy producer, has ambitious plans to set up 100 CBG
plants within the next five years, with a focus on utilizing 5.5 million tonnes of agro-residue
and organic waste.
S NTPC is taking various steps to make its energy portfolio greener by adding significant
capacities of Renewable Energy (RE) Sources.
