WELCOMING MESSAGES
The aim of the conference is to provide opportunities for the different areas
delegates in the field of Electric Vehicle (EV) technology to exchange new
ideas and application experiences and to establish friendly relation among
peers for future global collaboration. All accepted and presented papers will be forwarding for
consideration to be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (Normally will be indexed in SCOPUS
database) and non-presented papers will be pulled from submission to IEEE Xplore (Catalog Number:
CFP19N65-ART). Selected good quality papers will be considered to be published in Vehicle to Grid
(V2G) -MDPI (Energies/ Sustainability (Q2)/ Vehicles) / International Journal of Sustainable
Transportation Technology (IJSTT) with normal review process by the journal editor.
This conference will be held in The Trans Resort, Sunset Road, Seminyak-Kerobokan, Bali. Bali is the
most popular island holiday destination in the Indonesian archipelago. The island’s home to an ancient
culture that's known for its warm hospitality. Exotic temples and palaces set against stunning natural
backdrops are some of its top attractions. Dining in Bali presents endless choices of local or far-flung
cuisine. After sunset, famous nightspots come to life offering exciting clubbing and packed dance floors.
Inland, towering volcanoes and pristine jungles greet you with plenty to see and do. Most can't stay
away from the beach for long, though. Enjoy amazing beach resorts and luxury resorts in any of Bali’s
famous areas. These include Kuta, Seminyak and Jimbaran where most of the great hotels and villas
are right on the beach. They’re also home to most of Bali’s exciting surf spots. For tranquil seascapes
and sunrises, the eastern beach resorts are your best bets. Looking forward to seeing you in the exotic
Bali!
7th ICEVT 2022 will be a hybrid conference that will run fully in-person and fully virtually. The conference
is designed and meant to be a hybrid conference to take advantage of the best that the two modalities
can offer.
However, the 7th ICEVT 2022 Organising Committee also recognises the benefits of virtual
conferences. Virtual conferences are more inclusive, allowing wider target of participation. This allows
a higher number of students to attend. Virtual conferences also allow participation of colleagues that for
personal or working commitments cannot travel to the conference venue. In addition, some participants
may still experience travel difficulties.
Hence, the technical programme of 7th ICEVT 2022 will also be replicated on a Virtual Conference
Platform. In this regard, 7th ICEVT 2022 is like other virtual conferences, with the only important
difference that the programme of the virtual conference is synchronized with the in-person programme.
For instance, a presentation video live-stream on the Virtual Conference Platform corresponds to a
streamed presentation taking place in our physical venue.
In summary, 7th ICEVT 2022 combines the best of both worlds, aiming at providing a full in-person
experience and a full virtual experience.
For virtual attendees, the recording of the talk will be played in the room and streamed online to all
participants. In addition, the entire programme will also be available on-demand. Virtual attendees may
interact in the presentation from in-person attendees through Zoom meeting platform.
It is important to highlight that streaming will be possible only from the conference venue. Thus, virtual
registered authors can deliver their presentation only via recording.
To this end, all virtual attendees will be required to record their talk in advance, which will be available
on the conference submission system to all registered participants.
We hope that 7th ICEVT 2022 will demonstrate that hybrid conferences are a new opportunity for the
control community.
