    Subject: OPENING OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN LAHORE AND MULTAN

    In continuation to this office order No. 123/DG/EPA/2024 dated 12.11.2024


    & Letter No.135/DG/EPA/2024 dated 18.11.2024, regarding restrictions imposed by this
    office for closure/shifting to online mode by Educational Institutions.

    2. The ambient air quality has improved in Punjab, due to rain in upper parts of
    Punjab, change in wind direction and speed. Therefore, all the educational institutions
    in the whole province, including Lahore and Multan Division, shall be opened w.e.f.
    20-11-2024 (Wednesday) with physical presence of students/staff with following
    restrictions/precautionary measures:
    i. All the educational institutions in these districts shall observe school opening
    timings not before 08:45 AM.
    ii. All the students/staff shall wear face masks.
    iii. There shall be a complete ban on outdoor sports and outdoor co-curricular
    activities till further orders.
    iv. All educational institutions shall introduce class wise school closing timing to
    avoid traffic congestions.
