    URJA WATER BASE DUCT SEALANT

    Description:

    URJA WATER BASE DUCT SEALANT is a fast setting, elastomeric water base joint sealant for low
    medium & high velocity heating & air conditioning ducts. It has very good adhesion to galvanize,
    aluminum or mild steel metal ducts. It gives good flexible seal against air leakages and do not
    require reinforcing tapes or mechanical fasteners.
    URJA WATER BASE DUCT SEALANT is suitable for Cleanroom and Pharmaceutical Projects.

    It passes the Flammability test as per UL94 HB class test when tested at ARAI, lab, pune.

    Also it is food grade material when tested as per IS & USFDA test method at FOOD HYGENE &
    HEALTH LABORATORY.

    Typical Properties:

    Colour : White / Grey / Black /clear


    Viscosity : 800 to 1200 cps.
    Curing Schedule : (25°C) and 50% R H.
    Set to Touch: 1 hour, dry through : 1 Hrs Dry.
    Wet Flammability (ASTM D 3278) : No flash at 99° C
    Non Volatile content : 85 %
    Specific Gravity : 1.56/1.05

    Storage: Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. Storage below 18˚C to 23˚C is
    recommended

    Application: Apply by brush, cartridge gun, trowel or extrusion. On spiral duct apply a thick coat
    of URJA water base duct sealant. Brush excess URJA Water base duct sealant over the exterior of the
    joint and over the heads of all metal screws after they are in place and the joints are mechanically
    fastened.

    Shelf Life: 9 months under above conditions

    Packing: 310ml cartridge
