Mechanics

1. There will be six (6) grade levels competing in the activity which is divided into two
categories: Category A will compose of Grade levels 7, 8 and 9. Category B will
compose of Grade levels 10, 11 and 12. Each team must have seven (7) members
only.
2. Each team is tasked to radio broadcast five (5) articles/information sets.
3. The articles/information sets should be of the following categories:
a. 1 local report;
b. 1 national report;
c. 1 international report;
d. 1 sports report; and
e. 1 entertainment
4. Each team is given a maximum of five (5 minutes) to do the radio broadcasting. A
prep time of two (2) minutes is given as well. A total of 7 minutes is reserved for
every team. The allotted time is solely for radio broadcasting simulation. Thus, script
must be written and printed prior the simulation.
5. Within the given radio broadcasting time, a team is allowed to present at least two
(2) infomercials but should still be relayed through a radio broadcast.
6. Each team is required to provide its own stinger and some other necessary stuff to
complete its radio broadcast delivery.
7. The following awards will be given one from each category:

BEST INFOMERCIAL
BEST SCRIPT
