(C)In the figure, : ∠PSQ = 90°, PQ = 10 cm, QS = 6 cm and RQ = 9 cm. Calculate the [4M]
length of PR.

centre to a chord is 8.0 cm. calculate the length of the chord.
(C)The mean of 40 observations was 160. It was detected that the value of 165 was [4M]
wrongly copied as 125. Find the correct mean.

(B)Given below are the marks obtained by 32 students in an examination: [3M]

Question.10.
(A) Given cos 38° sec (90°-2A) = 1; Find the value of angle A. [3M]
(B)The mean of 5 numbers is 18. If one number is excluded, the mean of remaining [3M]
numbers becomes 16. Find the excluded number.
(C)A rectangular plot 85 m long and 60 m broad is to be covered with grass leaving [4M]
5 m all around. Find the area to be laid with grass.
