43. Present ages of Anu and Raj are in the ratio 4:5. Eight years from now the ratio of their ages will be

45. I borrowed Rs. 12,000 from Jamshed at 6% per annum simple interest for 2 years. Had I borrowed

46. The internal measure of a cuboidal room are 12 m × 8 m × 4m. Find the total cost of whitewashing all
four walls of a room, if the cost of white washing is Rs5 per �2 . What will be the cost of white washing
if the ceiling of the room is also whitewashed.

The lateral surface area of a hollow cylinder is 4224 ��2 . It is cut along its height and formed a rectangular
sheet of width 33 cm. Find the perimeter of rectangular sheet?
47. Two persons could fit new window in a house in 3 days.
(a) One of the persons fell ill before the work started. How long would the job take now?
