DOEACC Society is an Autonomous Body of Dept. of Information Technology (DIT) engaged in Human Resource Development in the area of Information, Electronics & Communication Technologies (IECT).

Objectives of the Society

to generate quality manpower in the area of IECT, to provide continuing support to learners, and Trainers through active design & development of innovative curricula, acquisition of content aligned with the dynamically changing IECT scenario, to establish a quality system of examination and certification for assessment of competency of students, to continue to implement the Joint Scheme of DIT & AICTE (DOEACC Scheme for Computer Courses) in the non-formal sector of IT education, to develop training programmes in the emerging areas of IECT, to provide entrepreneurship development programme.

Strengths of the Society

Offers quality education in the formal & non-formal area of IECT besides development of industry oriented quality education and training in the state-of-the-art areas. Establish standards to be the countrys premier institution for examination and certification in the field of IECT. National Level Examination Body, which accredits institutes / organisations for conducting courses, particularly in the non-formal sector of IT Education & Training. Undertakes data processing, software development and various consultancy projects for the computerisation of Govt. as well as private firms. Undertakes various consultancy services, maintenance services etc. in the field of IECT. Undertakes R&D projects.

R&D Activities and Development Work

Development of Test Bed for Information Security Skill Development with Virtual Training Environment (VTE) by DOEACC Centre, Gorakhpur with the financial support of DIT. 7 Ph.D Research scholars are carrying out research work at DOEACC Centre, Aurangabad, registered with Dr. B.A.M. University, Aurangabad. 10 Research papers published in National/ International Journals and Conferences. Design & Development of VLSI Signal Processing Lab and FPGA based Embedded System Lab by DOEACC Centre, Calicut.

Planetarium Automation System Phase-II: Installation of PC based Planetarium Projection Automation System with 6-Axis controller for Carl Zeiss Planetarium Projection Equipment. Design and Development of Software for Digital Climate Control System. To study and suggest the applications of LCD Panel used for displays in various sectors i.e. Education, Health etc. Post Implementation Support: Software maintenance and Manpower support for computerisation of activities of 34 Govt. E-governance
DOEACC has successfully executed 11 turnkey projects, 70 Application software development projects, 60 website design projects and various training Programme for Government departments. IT projects implemented in various govt. departments are running successfully and users have reposed confidence in availing our professional and committed services on long term relationship basis. Course on Computer Concept CCC

A basic level IT Literacy programme for the common person. The total duration of the course is 80 hours. The on-line course content of CCC in e-learning mode is available free on www.doeacc.edu.in. Examination conducted by the DOEACC Society thrice a year, made available on demand from September 2009. also

Recognized by state governments of Gujarat, Maharashtra & UP as basic eligibility for fresh recruitment and/or promotion. Controller General of Accounts (CGA) has recognized CCC for computer paper of JAO (Civil) departmental examination. Course contributing to increased and speedy PC penetration in different walks of life.

Future Plans

Opening of 'O' level examination and commencement of the course on e-learning mode. Achieving the capability of examining and training 1 crore CCC students in e-learning mode over a period of 5 years. IT skill development for 100 lakhs students by the year 2022 through various DOEACC Courses. Setting up of DOEACC Virtual University.
