ABOUT THE ORGANISATION: Sesame Workshop India is a not-for-profit organiza8on with a mission to
help children grow smarter, stronger, and kinder. The organiza8on focuses on the founda8onal stage
and works with the government, non-profits, and community-based organiza8ons to bring lessons to
children living in low-resourced communi8es. Sesame Workshop India is strengthening the quality of
pre-school educa8on to ensure beDer learning outcomes for children through an integrated approach,
linking innova8ve non-tech and tech solu8ons. The organiza8on’s curriculum addresses children’s
cri8cal developmental needs and combines it with the sophis8cated use of media and a large dose of
fun. Sesame Workshop India’s work promotes learning with real, measurable results, a fact borne out
by numerous studies and sustained through its research-intensive process.

Job Summary – The Manager of Partnership and Communica8on is responsible for developing and
managing strategic partnerships and communica8on ini8a8ves to support the organiza8on’s mission
and goals. This role involves building and nurturing rela8onships with key stakeholders, coordina8ng
communica8on efforts, and ensuring effec8ve messaging across various channels.

Key Responsibility Areas are:

1.Partnership Development

• Iden8fy and pursue strategic partnership opportuni8es with relevant organiza8ons,


businesses, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong rela8onships with partners to enhance collabora8on.
• Develop partnership agreements, MOUs, and other formal agreements as needed.

2. Communica=on Strategy

• Develop and implement comprehensive communica8on strategies to promote the


organiza8on’s objec8ves.
• Coordinate and manage all internal and external communica8on efforts.
• Ensure consistent and effec8ve messaging across all communica8on channels, including
social media, website, newsleDers, and press releases.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including partners, sponsors,
media, and the community.
• Organize and par8cipate in stakeholder mee8ngs, events, and conferences.
• Represent the organiza8on at various forums and public engagements.

4. Content Crea=on for Events


• Oversee the crea8on of compelling content for various communica8on plaRorms.
• Ensure that all communica8on materials align with the organiza8on's brand and messaging
guidelines.
• Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure 8mely and relevant communica8ons.

5. Media Rela=ons

• Cul8vate and maintain rela8onships with media outlets and journalists.


• DraT and distribute press releases and other media communica8ons.
• Coordinate media inquiries and interviews.

6. Marke=ng and Branding

• Develop marke8ng campaigns to support organiza8onal goals and ini8a8ves.


• Ensure consistent applica8on of branding guidelines across all marke8ng materials.
• Monitor and analyse the effec8veness of marke8ng efforts and adjust strategies as needed.

7. Event Plan & Coordina=on

• Plan and execute events, workshops, and conferences to support partnership and
communica8on objec8ves.
• Coordinate logis8cs, marke8ng, and outreach efforts for events.
• Manage event budgets and 8melines.

8. Monitoring and Repor=ng

• Monitor and evaluate the effec8veness of partnership and communica8on ini8a8ves.


• Prepare and present regular reports on partnership and communica8on ac8vi8es and
outcomes.
• Use data and feedback to con8nuously improve strategies and approaches.

Required Qualifica=ons

1. Bachelor’s degree in Communica8ons, Public Rela8ons, Marke8ng, Business Administra8on, or a


related field. Master’s degree preferred.

2. Proven experience upto 8 yrs in partnership development, communica8ons, and public rela8ons.

3. Strong understanding of communica8on strategies and tools.

4. Excellent wriDen and verbal communica8on skills.

5. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain rela8onships with diverse stakeholders.

6. Proficient in using digital communica8on tools and social media plaRorms.

7. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle mul8ple tasks and deadlines.

8. Crea8ve thinker with the ability to develop innova8ve communica8on and partnership solu8ons.

9. Strong analy8cal skills to evaluate the effec8veness of communica8on strategies and partnership
outcomes.
10. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
