    Series of 201Qj r.-Jt. ('I) AS-STAKED AND AS-BUILT PLANS

    In line with the decentralization of the Government in order to provide for more effective and
    expeditious implementation of projects and based on the result of the assessment conducted by
    the Bureau of Design on the design capability of DPWH field offices, the limits of the delegated
    authority of the Regional Directors and District Engineers listed hereunder to approve detailed
    engineering design, as-staked and as-built plans with respect to locally-funded infrastructure
    projects within their respective regions/districts are hereby increased to Php 200 Million and
    Php 50 Million, respectively.

    This Order supersedes Department Order No. 041, series of 2015 "REVISED LIMITS OF
    DELEGATED AUTHORITY TO DISTRICT ENGINEERS TO APPROVE DETAILED
    ENGINEERING DESIGN, AS-STAKED AND AS-BUILT PLANS".

    These levels of authority will be temporary while the Regional/District Engineering Offices
    maintain at least a "Very Satisfactory" rating.

    This Order shall take effect immediately.
