    Bishop of Chengalpattu

    We the people “Our Lady of Snow Church” of Ayyappanthangal Parish extend our Greeting and peace
    of the Risen Lord
    We extend our heartfelt thanks for your continuous prayers and support to uphold the Parish
    Church of Ayyappanthangal “Our Lady of snow Church” officially declared as parish in 2010, and
    the church was consecrated by the holy hands of his grace in 2012.
    During our Visit to his bishop house on 15th March 2024 the consult fathers were kind enough with
    empathetic listening to appoint a priest who will support the parish church and to rebuild the broken
    parish community and restore all the suspended religious activity as requested in Bishop representation
    dated 22nd April 2022.
    The very rev late Dr. Fr. John Bosco enriched our broken hearts with a trust filled words “Not
    to worry we will take up your genuine request to Bishop and we can rebuilt the church again”
    with this hope we returned back, but to our dismay Fr. Bosco has attained eternal rest through the
    intercession of Very rev Fr. Bosco we kindly bow before your good self, requesting you to appoint
    a priest who will do justice to the parish church and who could capable in implementing the
    following;
     rebuild the broken parish community as one community.
     restoring and strengthening all the religious activities of parish church (Baptism,
    Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Matrimony)
     reside near the parish church and meet people.
     Build and strengthen infra structure of parish church (Regulating the pathway,
    construction of compound wall to protect the property from encroachment, payment of
    land tax, construction of presbytery, renovating the parish church etc.)
     Handle the individual and group dominance and act neutral.
     Keep the accounts transparent.
    We will be grateful if Rev bishop give specific instruction to the new parish priest to prioritize
    and develop parish church and the relevant records handed over to Fr. Alexis by Former Parish priest
    Fr. Stanley Chinnadurai should be handed over to the new parish priest in parish Church “Our
    Lady of Snow” Ayyappanthangal.

    We assure you, that we will extend all possible support to strengthen the hands of new parish priest
    under the guidance of his grace to uphold Our Lady of Snow Church to restore and rebuild the church
    again.

    Thanking you in anticipation, for appointing a priest who could do justice to parish church.
