speedrun seeds are extremely hard to
come by, as they require a special set of
conditions. We’ve collected the 30 best
speedrun seeds for Minecraft 1.20 that will
provide you with quick access to the
Nether and the End, eventually letting you
defeat that pesky Ender Dragon.

Spawn: X: -208 Z: 288

Biomes: Plains, Forest
What makes this seed a great speedrun

seed is a very close proximity to a
stronghold, which makes it only 700 blocks
away from spawn. The stronghold is
located at coordinates X: -908 Z: 948.
There’s also a nice island village at spawn,
but it’s better to check out the village on
your way to the stronghold at coordinates
X: -1,040 Z: 144, as it has a lava source
suitable for making nether portal.

Biomes: Plains
Spawn in the village with a blacksmith and

an underground ruined portal at exact
coordinates X: 40 Z: 40. The nearest
stronghold that I could find is located at
coordinates X: -908 Z: 964. There’s also a
second stronghold in the vicinity, but it’s a
bit further at coordinates X: 1,700 Z: 292.
The ruined portal at spawn will send you
straight to the nether fortress at
coordinates X: -85 Z: 107.

Biomes: Plains, Forest
This seed also spawns you in the village,

and it also has two strongholds near
spawn. The closest one can be found
under the island at coordinates X: 980 Z:
-908, but I urge you to check out the other
one instead at coordinates X: -1,388 Z:
-572. The reason is that it already has one
active eye in the socket, and it’s easier to
get to this stronghold via the ground.

Biomes: Plains, Swampland
There’s a nice swamp near spawn with a

village, where you’ll find an almost
complete ruined portal, a witch hut, and a
lava pool at coordinates X: -504 Z: -248.
This portal will take you to the nearest
nether fortress at coordinates X: -789 Z:
-85. Then, you can travel to the stronghold
at coordinates X: 964 Z: -924 and quickly
finish your game.

Biomes: Plains
It’s always nice to find an End portal in a

stronghold that has 25% of active eyes
already placed in the socket. You can find
such a stronghold at coordinates X: 1,028
Z: 964. There’s also a village nearby with a
ruined portal at coordinates X: 1,288 Z:
872. All this should speed up your
speedrun walkthrough of the game!

Biomes: Snow Plains
Spawn in a snow village with an almost

finished exposed ruined portal. There’s
also an igloo with a basement on the
frozen river nearby at coordinates X: 152
Z: 24. The portal will take you straight to
the nether fortress at coordinates X: 363 Z:
-149. The nearest stronghold can be found
at coordinates X: 1,012 Z: 932, which is
less than 900 blocks away from the
spawn.

Biomes: Plains, Ocean
Here, I spawned on the ocean shore with a

close view of a small island and village at
coordinates X: 16 Z: 16. Fortunately,
there’s also an exposed ruined portal near
the island at coordinates X: 72 Z: 56,
which you can rebuild on the surface. The
portal will spawn you near the nether
fortress at coordinates X: 187 Z: -261.
Also, I found a very close stronghold at
coordinates X: -844 Z: 1,284.

Spawn: X: -224 Z: 0
Biomes: Plains
As soon as you spawn, check out the

nearest village at coordinates X: 32 Z: 0,
and then go straight to the exposed ruined
portal at coordinates X: -584 Z: 184. This
is a double ruin that has enough obsidian
to rebuild a complete portal, which will take
you to the nether fortress at coordinates X:
-197 Z: -373. Once you have enough blaze
rods, move to the stronghold at
coordinates X: -652 Z: 1,332.

Biomes: Plains
The easiest way to activate an End portal

is to find one with at least a few active
Eyes of Ender. In this seed, I found a
stronghold with two active eyes already set
at coordinates X: -1,308 Z: -1,020, which is
pretty close to where you spawn. There’s
also an underground nether portal near
spawn at coordinates X: -280 Z: -328,
which can easily get you to the nether
fortress at coordinates X: -149 Z: -181.

Spawn: X: 64 Z: 272
Biomes: Plains
If you think that two active eyes aren’t

enough, then here’s the speedrun
Minecraft seed with a close end portal that
has three active eyes of ender at
coordinates X: 1,188 Z: 932. But you also
get a village at spawn and an underground
nether portal at coordinates X: 376 Z: 40.
The nearest nether frotress can be found
at coordinates X: 299 Z: 363.

Biomes: Plains, Ocean
Spawn in extremely beneficial conditions

with two villages and two blacksmiths.
There’s also a lava pool nearby and lots of
water, where you can easily make obsidian
blocks for your nether portal. Once in the
nether, you can easily find two fortresses
at coordinates X: -85 Z: 27 and X: 27 Z:
283. The nearest stronghold is located at
coordinates X: -876 Z: -988, which is less
than 1,000 blocks away from spawn.

If you don’t want to build your own nether

portal, then here’s the speedrun Minecraft
seed that will spawn in the village with a

When ready, it’ll take you straight to the
nether fortress at coordinates X: 59 Z: 123
or X: 219 Z: -181. After collecting blaze
rods, head over to coordinates X: 1,044 Z:
-780 for the nearest stronghold in the
overworld.
