Roller Chain Drive Selection


3. Calculate Design Horsepower: Motor HP x Service
Factor, or normal running HP x Service Factor.
4. Determine Chain Size and Smaller (Usually the Driv-
er) sprocket number of teeth: Refer to “Recommended
