A DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN HEALTH VI

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to:
a. Identify the different types of wastes;
b. Appreciate the importance of separation of wastes in our daily living; and
c. perform a role play showing the separation of wastes.

Before we proceed to our next topic let us have

5. Application
Class, let’s have an activity. I will group you into
3 groups and you are going to have a role play.
Each group are going to make a scenario where
you are showing the proper separation of waste.

I will provide the DIY trashbin for the group to


use as props for the role play.

Each group will be given 5 minutes to prepare and


practice and then after performed in front. (All pupils are doing their group work)

Here is the rubric to be guided in group’s


performance

VI. EVALUATION

Directions: Given the following waste below,


determine whether they are biodegradable, non-
biodegradable, or hazardous wastes. On the
provided lines, write (BW) if it's biodegradable
waste, (NBW) if it's non-biodegradable trash, and
(HW) if it's hazardous waste. Answer:

B. Place the waste in the appropriate container, as shown below. Observe proper
separation of wastes and write the name of the waste in the containers found in part A.
