    2024 - 2025 School Intramurals Narrative


    INTRODUCTION Report
    The School Intramurals at Coral na Munti
    Elementary School took place from September 25 to
    27, 2024, with the aim of fostering camaraderie,
    sportsmanship, and physical fitness among the
    students and with the theme “Lakas at Talino: Gabay
    ng Bawat Batangueno Tungo sa MATATAG na
    Atletang Pilipino”. This annual event brought
    together all grade levels, engaging both students and
    staff in friendly competition and athletic events.

    ACTIVITIES

    (Day 1) Opening Ceremony

    The Intramurals officially began on September 25,


    Heading up the Grade V learners belong to Green
    2024, with a grand opening ceremony that included a Team.
    parade of players, flag raising, and the lighting of the
    torch, symbolizing the start of the games. The school
    Sports Coordinator, together with key staff, delivered
    inspiring opening remarks that highlighted the
    importance of teamwork, discipline, and the role of
    sports in building character. Indeed, a spectacular
    presentation of muses and escorts in all grade levels
    wearing different sports attire features in Day 1
    activities, were they are judged, yet it was a friendly
    competition after all.

    The Lighting of Torch by Rosell Deomampo, ignites the


    event.

    The event was well-attended by parents, teachers,


    and students, creating an atmosphere of excitement.
    There were muses and escorts representing all grade
    level modelling different sports wear with their

    Day 2: Sports Competitions

    On the second day, students competed in various


    sports including chess, volleyball, badminton, and
    field event like the softball and baseball for
    intermediate pupils while for the Primary Level
    various fun games were played. The games were held
    simultaneously across different venues in the school,
    ensuring that all students had the opportunity to
    participate and cheer for their teams.

    The baseball and softball games were held outside


    the school premises.

    Day 3: Culmination and Awarding Ceremony


    The final day of the Intramurals was marked by the
    culmination of the remaining sports events and the
    much-anticipated awarding ceremony. Students
    gathered at the school’s covered court, eagerly
    waiting for the announcement of the winning
    teams. Tokens and certificates were awarded to the
    top-performing athletes and teams, with special
    recognition given to students who exhibited
    exceptional sportsmanship throughout the games.

    The green team emerged as the overall


    champion, earning the highest points across
    various sports. There were heartfelt
    congratulations and cheers from both students
    and teachers. The event concluded with a closing
    speech from the principal, who expressed
    gratitude to everyone involved, especially the
    organizers,

    Conclusion
    The 2024 School Intramurals at Coral na Munti
    Elementary School was a tremendous success. It
    achieved its objectives of promoting physical
    activity, enhancing teamwork, and building a
    stronger sense of community within the school. The
    students left the event with not only certificates but
    also cherished memories and valuable life lessons in
    sportsmanship and collaboration.
