1 POSITION - ACCOUNT OFFICER


QUALIFICATION - HND OR DEGREE from any upright institution
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and
financial statements.

Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as balance sheets and
income statements.

Budgeting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to help guide financial planning.

Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and
regulations.

Auditing: Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance; may also assist external
auditors.

Cost Analysis: Analyse costs and expenses to help improve profitability.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely
payments and collections.

Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for
improvement.

Skills Required: Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data entry and financial reporting is crucial.

Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and trends.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

QUALIFICATION DEGREE OR HND IN PURCHASING AND SUPPLY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and timely
replenishment of stock.
Staff Supervision: Manage and train warehouse staff, delegating tasks and ensuring productivity.

Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe
working environment.

Logistics Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing delivery


schedules and routes.

Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in operations and implement strategies to enhance


productivity and reduce costs.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the warehouse budget, controlling expenses and
maximizing resources.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports on inventory, shipments, and operational
performance.

Technology Utilization: Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other
technologies to improve operations.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to align
warehouse activities with business objectives.

Customer Service: Address and resolve any issues related to inventory or shipments to maintain
customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATION VALID LINCENSE GRADE C AND ABOVE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

1. Transportation of Employees and Goods

Safely transport employees, clients, or goods to various locations.

Ensure timely arrivals for meetings, events, or deliveries.

2. Vehicle Maintenance

Conduct regular checks on the vehicle to ensure it’s in good working condition. Report any mechanical
issues or required maintenance to management.

3. Route Planning Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption. Stay updated
on traffic conditions and alternative routes.

4. Record Keeping

Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any expenses incurred.

Complete required documentation for trips and deliveries.


5. Compliance and Safety

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.

Follow company policies regarding vehicle operation and safety.

6. Customer Service

Provide a positive experience for passengers and clients.

Address any questions or concerns professionally.

7. Communication

Communicate effectively with management regarding schedules and any changes.

Coordinate with other departments for scheduling needs.

8. Emergency Preparedness

Be prepared for emergencies and know how to respond appropriately.

Keep an emergency kit in the vehicle.

and timely delivery of goods.

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational
performance.

Project Management: Lead and coordinate projects, ensuring they are completed on time and
within budget.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure products and services meet
company standards.

Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION SENIOR HIGH CERTIFICATE.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Loading Responsibilities:

Handling Goods: Safely loading items onto trucks, vans, containers, or storage shelves.

Inspecting Goods: Checking goods for any damages before loading to ensure quality control.

Organizing Loads: Ensuring that items are arranged in a way that prevents damage during transport.
This might involve stacking, balancing, and securing loads.

Operating Equipment: Using machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor belts to move heavy
or large items, when required.

Following Safety Guidelines: Adhering to company safety policies, wearing protective gear
(helmets, gloves, etc.), and using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.

Documentation: Verifying and recording loaded items to ensure the correct quantity and type of goods
are shipped.

2. Offloading Responsibilities:

Unloading Goods: Safely removing items from delivery vehicles or storage areas.
Inspecting Deliveries: Checking goods for damage during transportation and ensuring that what
was received matches the delivery documents.

Proper Placement: Placing items in the appropriate location, whether in a warehouse, store, or
other designated areas.

Sorting and Organizing: Ensuring that goods are properly sorted and stored in the correct sections
for easy identification and retrieval.

Handling Returns: Coordinating with relevant departments if goods need to be returned or


exchanged due to damages or incorrect shipments.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the loading/unloading area clean and organized, ensuring the
environment is free from potential hazards.
