THE NEW COADJUTOR BISHOP OF SAN DIEGO Pope Benedict XVI appointed Bishop Cirilo Flores to be the Coadjutor Bishop of San Diego, effective January 4, 2012. Bishop Flores was born in Corona, California, in 1948 when Corona was still part of the Diocese of San Diego and he spent the first 30 years of his life in this diocese. After practicing law for 10 years, he entered St. Johns seminary in Camarillo in 1986 and was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Orange in 1991. He was ordained as Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Orange on March 19, 2009. Bishop Flores will be formally received in the Diocese of San Diego on Monday, February 13th. As Coadjutor Bishop of San Diego, he will assist Bishop Brom until his retirement in 2013, at which time Bishop Flores will become the fifth Bishop of San Diego. GUEST PRIEST IN THE PARISH We welcome Father Francis Azzopardi in the parish. He will stay here from January 11, 2012 to February 18, 2012. He belongs to the Diocese of Westminster in the United Kingdom. He will perform some of my priestly works while Im on vacation.
Youth Mass
This Sunday, January 15th, and every 3rd Sunday, the Youth Group will assist at the 5:30 p.m. Mass. They will sing in the choir, and serve as lectors and ushers.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Held the 2nd Saturday of month, Daily Chapel, 8:45 am - 3:30 pm. ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIANS: Every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Music Room. Handicap Equipment
Long-time parishioner, Frank Kloberdanz, has a supply of handicap equipment available to loan to those in need. All items are free to borrow. There is no time limit on borrowing any item. If you cannot walk long distances, for instance, borrow a wheelchair from Frank. You do not need to be a parish member, or even be Catholic. All we ask is that when you return an item, please sanitize it with alcohol. Should you have any items to donate to the collection, please call Frank at 858-569-0651.
