MD’S CUP TOURNAMENT

RULES & REGULATIONS

PLAYERS, COACHES AND TEAMS


1. Each team Must Wear or have a specific Color of jersey During the Competition.
2. All Teams Must Not Have More Than 10 Players on Their Team Roster (7outfield Players
And 3 Subs).
3. No Player Is Allowed to Play Without Boots During Any Of The Matches, Any Violation Of
This Rule Will Attract The Player Been Sent Out Till He Or She Gets A pair of boots.
4. Every team must have a coach and team logo. (it is very compulsory)
5. Every coach/captain must submit their starting line ups 24hrs before their match day.

REFEREES
1. Players And Fans Are Advised To Respect The Referee, Remember The Cause You Are
Playing For, Dissent Will Not Be Tolerated.
2. All Refereeing Decisions Are Final.

DURATION OF THE MATCH


1. Unlimited Substitutions Are Allowed Within The Allowed Number Of Team Players As
Long As The Referee Is Made Aware Of The Changes.
Note: Subs Can Only Take Place Within A Team’s Squad.
2. Substitutes Must Enter And Leave The Field Of Play At The Referee’s Discretion.
3. Substitution Can Only Be Made When Play Has Stopped.

BORROWING PLAYERS
1. There Is A Minimum Number Of Players Required For A Game Or Competition To Go
Ahead, In A 7 Aside Game A Minimum Of 5 Players Are Required For A Game To Begin,
Otherwise The Incomplete Team Must Forfeit To A Loss To Their Opponents.

2. If A Team Has 7 Players, They Are Not Allowed To Borrow Players To Be Substitutes.

3. If A Team Does Not Have Enough Players They May Wish To Borrow A Player From
Another Team. In This Case The Team Captain Must Get Permission From The Team They
Wish To Borrow From And This Excludes The Team They Are Playing Against At The
Moment, This Must Be Witnessed By The Organizer/Coordinator And Referee.

4a) If They Agree, The Game Will Go Ahead As Normal.

4b) If They Disagree Then The Team Will Have To Play With The Minimum Players Or
Forfeit The Game.

FOULS AND MISCONDUCT

1. The Referee Will Deal With All Fouls And Misconduct Which Will Be Cautioned
Accordingly.
2. Scoring From Throw-Ins With The Foot Is Not Allowed, But If There Is a Deflection
on the Course Of The Ball into the post then it is recorded as a goal.
3. Free Kicks Are Direct And The Defending Team Must Retreat At Least 7 Yards From
The Ball (Where Possible).

DISCIPLINE
1. All Caution Details Are Reported To The Coordinator At The End Of Each Game.
*Verbal Warning
* 1st Offence Yellow Card
* 2nd Yellow Card In A Game = RED CARD
NOTE THAT Each Yellow Card Holds A Fine Of 200 And Red Card 500 Which Should Be
Payed Before A Player Steps Into The Pitch. Any Lack Of Cooperation Will Lead To The
Player Not Been Able To Play The Next Game.
Red Card Means A Player Misses The Next Match.

SPECTATORS & FANS


Spectators And Fans Are To Be Supportive To Their Team And Responsible For The Way
They Engage With Other Supporters. Insulting Or Abusive Language Or Behavior Will Be
Cautioned, If Spectators Or Fans Are Unable To Adhere To This May Be Asked To Leave.

GENERAL PLAYING RULES


1. Goalkeeper Distribution And Area Rules Are As In 11 Aside.
2. The Back Pass Rule Applies – A Freekick Shall Be Awarded To The Attacking Team 2
Yards Outside The Penalty Area.

3. A Goal Can Be Scored Directly from Any Kickoff apart from throw-ins

4. There Are No Offsides.
