The Prayers Jan 28th, 2022
Our Lord, Jesus, thank you for giving us enough rest and today, we are
starting to do our activities at school. bless us through this day in all we do
and all we say. We give You our school. We give you all the teachers and staff
who work here, we give you all the children who study here. We pray for your
blessings over their lives, their work, and their families. We pray our school
would be place of great discovery, adventure and creativity. Amen
Jesus said to the crowds: “This is how it is with the kingdom of God; it is as
if a man were to scatter seed on the land and would sleep and rise night and
day and through it all the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how. Of
its own accord the land yields fruit, first the blade, then the ear, then the
full grain in the ear. And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once,
for the harvest has come.”
He said, “To what shall we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable can
we use for it? It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground,
is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth. But once it is sown, it springs
up and becomes the largest of plants and puts forth large branches, so that
the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade.”
With many such parables he spoke the word to them as they were able to
understand it. Without parables he did not speak to them, but to his own
disciples he explained everything in private.
Jesus speaks about a small seed that has been scattered into the land. The
seed had grown so big and was soon harvested. Jesus also speaks about a tiny
mustard seed that was sown. After a while it soon became so big where birds
rested in its shade.
Does God sow seed within us also with the intention of making it grow so that
others could also benefit from it? Yes! God sows a seed in each and every
one of us. But more often than not this small seed doesn’t grow until it
eventually dies. Why? Because many of us are afraid to trust God, so we do
not take action.
God the Most Generous Father, we praise and glorify Your name, we are
grateful for Your inclusion until now, You always fill our lives with all Your
perfections. Likewise, at this time, we are the big family of SD Pangudi Luhur
St Timothy, prostrate to ask for Your mercy with the inclusion of Your Holy
Spirit to always be present in every process that occurs in our school.
Father, at this time we are opening the acceptance of new students, we ask
for your help in accepting new students at SD Pangudi Luhur St. Timothy,
2022/2023. Let Your Spirit work on us so that all the efforts we are doing
can run well and smoothly.
Merciful Father, You have spoken, whatever we need You will grant it.
Convinced by Your word, Father, we ask that you guide prospective new
students so that they can attend our school and join as students whom You
bless to become intelligent and virtuous individuals.
Loving Father, let Your Holy Spirit work on us so that we can vigorously carry
out Your mission with a sense of responsibility, namely accompanying Your
sons and daughters who have been entrusted to us to become individuals who
hope for Your salvation.
Father, You have said, "Let the children come to me". We ask you to guide
Your children with love to come and learn at our school.
Together with Mary, our eternal helper, we ask for Your inclusion in every
prayer we offer, for the sake of Christ our Lord. Amen
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name Thy kingdom comes.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit as it was, in the
beginning, is now and ever shall be the world without end amen.
Lord Father. Thank you for accompanying us in doing our work at school today.
Thank you for helping us finish the work. As we finish our work today, we
thank You for the good things you have done in us, and we praise you for all
who have shared in the work of this school. We ask you, Lord, to walk with us
everywhere we go and bless our way to home. In the name of the Lord Jesus,
we pray. Amen.
Amen.
