the New Lesson
1. Establishing a Purpose  Introduction: It will be useful, at first, to define the concepts of cultural relativism and
for the Lesson ethnocentrism. Explain that cultural relativism encompasses valuing culture as an
essential factor while ethnocentrism means perceiving one’s culture as the best among
all the existing ones.
 Motivation: Describe the significance of culture in the rural community where people are
undergoing a shift from one cultural practice to the other. Emphasize that acknowledging
the differences and their appreciation may result in better societal recipience.
2. Presenting  Example 1: Prepare a story where one can decide that somebody’s food behavior is
