    Question 6: [10 Marks] Solve the following word problems:


    a) By selling an iPhone 14 Pro Max at 1120 USD. Shahrukh suffers a loss of 30%. Find the cost
    price of the smartphone. And find the loss amount in USD.
    b) Mrs. MB Samo purchased Pure Khaadi Cotton Flared Kameez at sale price Rs. 1794 with 40
    percent discount. What was the marked price of the dress?
    c) Red, blue, and yellow paint are mixed in the ratio 4 : 7 : 3 to produce 308 cm3 of
    another colour. How much of each colour paint is used?
    d) If 40 workers do a work in 36 days, in how many days will the same work be done by
    increasing 20 more workers?
    e) A book covers 860 pages with 15 lines on every page. If we make the same book of
    645 pages with increasing number of lines. How many lines would be there on each
    page?
