1. In a globalized world, how do we foster love for our nation among the youth?

(Nghi)
In this globalized world, there are chances that a nation might lose its cultural identity
due to the infiltration of others. Therefore, it is of paramount importance and urgency to
put strengthen youth’s patriotism.
1/ The first method we want to suggest are related to education:
 Firstly, schools can operate contests to promote national history and culture
through taking photos, writing essays and so on.

 Through those competitions, participants can witness the

sophistication of traditional craftsmanship and the sacrifice of
Vietnamese soldiers in years of warfare as well.

 Secondly, we suggest making students engage in History class by utilizing

gamification, visiting museums or going on hands-on trips ...

 In addition, we should make the process of studying history more

interesting by producing stage plays and musical performances about
historical figures at school because They can help foster students’ pride and
love for their nation.
We should also introduce books regarding historical events like The Sorrow of War (Bao
Ninh), Vietnamese famine of 1945,... because they can sensitize young people the mission
to preserve quintessential cultural values. (Nghi)

In contemporary society, the widespread integration of AI tools has triggered a
multifaceted discussion about their advantages and disadvantages, especially
within educational settings. This has led to the multi-faceted question of whether
AI should be employed in academic tasks. Our group firmly believes that the
answer is yes, for the following reasons:
The primary advantage of AI tools lies in their time-saving and effective work.
Firstly, it can save time searching through the Internet.
As we know with search engines like Google and Bing, students can find countless
textbooks and references supporting their school work. Yet, they have to spend
time going through all those materials to find the ones they need. With AI chatbots
like ChatGPT and BingAI, you can make some requirements about your findings,
for instance - reference books focused on social experiments or the evaluation of
famous experiments. In that case, your AI chatbot can offer you a great list to start,
rather than surfing through thousands of websites and finding one that is up to your
needs. => Work more effectively.
In addition to practices and tests on the Internet, AI-powered tools in educational
apps can help learners improve their studies. For instance, Quizlet's AI-powered
feature can generate personalized tests and practices for students, helping them
with the preparation for their tests, while keeping them engaged. (Nghi)

3. Introduction (Nghi)
Nowadays, there is a tendency to work as content creators on social media, which
is becoming more prevalent among youngsters. As a result, some hold the idea that
working as Tiktokers or Youtubers is easier to make money than devoting time and
effort to learning. From our viewpoint, it cannot be said for sure which path can
earn more money, but it is clear that the chances of earning a living from studying
are higher than becoming a TikToker or a Youtuber.

The process of earning money when working as an influencer on social media is

based on external factors.
First, it depends greatly on luck and the public’s opinions. For example, if creators
do not have a good-looking appearance, they will not attract many viewers so
=> They cannot activate the money-making feature of their channels.
In addition, the rise to fame can be fleeting due to the fierce competition and the
changes in the public’s fads. With a large number of people also hoping to earn a
living through social media channels, the market requires each of them to be
creative or have something special and different from the others.
For instance, there is an old female Youtuber called Grandma Tan in Vietnam who
first uploaded videos of making giant dishes that gained popularity as well as a
high pay from Youtube extremely fast. Therefore, some others have also created
Youtube channels doing the same content and even imitating Tan’s intonation such
as Sau’s Vlog, Ba’s Vlog, Ly’s Vlog and so on. Obviously, they cannot earn much
money as Ms. Tan because they were just copied her idea and people become
bored of it.
=> Thus, they can’t monetize their content unless they constantly
refresh their image, which is fairly expensive and demanding.

Vietnamese juveniles are supposed to be more reliant on their parents than their
peers from other nations. In our view, we agree with the aforementioned statement
due to some reasons and we will also give some effects of this situation as well as
suggest some possible solutions.
II.
Generally, there are three main causes leading to this problem.
Firstly, Vietnamese parents often shower their children with too much affection
and attention.
For instance, we can see that at early ages, when children are hurt by household
goods such as a chair or table, their parents often scold those objects for being the
ones who intentionally hit and pamper the children.
=> This has led children to a misconception that they were flawless and they just
cried, some even did not want to stand up and wait for their parental help.
Gradually, when growing up, children still tend to seek help from parents because
they are used to it.
→ Therefore, it seems to be clear that while parents in overseas countries usually
let their children learn from trial and error, Vietnamese parents tend to be
overprotective because of their great affection.
Secondly, the general changes in modern society also lead teenagers to be more
dependent on their parents.
Contrary to those in the past, parents living in a Vietnamese contemporary society
give birth to fewer children.
In addition, the living standards of each family have partly improved.
→ It can be seen from these changes that children’s essential needs are usually
available and they are less likely to actively seek them. As a consequence, they
tend to live passively because they do not have to make an effort to serve
themselves, and the things they need are often provided by their parents.
Last but not least, that parents want to let their children concentrate on their studies
is also a reason for the problem.
Adolescents usually face a lot of pressure when studying and they have to meet
many deadlines as well.
=> Parents do not want to put them under more pressure so that they do their
children’s household tasks and other trivial things too.

5.
There are several reasons why tourists should avoid giving money directly to
children who are begging even though it seems heart-warming and praise-worthy:

*The first downside is the negative effects on children:

In many cases, children who beg are part of larger begging rings controlled by
adults. The money given to these children typically doesn’t go to them directly;
instead, it often ends up in the hands of adults who exploit them.
→ Therefore, even after receiving the money, those children still have to live in
substandard living conditions and be exploited over and over again.
→they are forced to keep begging and being kept out of school, which means they
have little chance of succeeding in the future.
When becoming beggars, children tend to depend on other people to give them
money rather than rely on themselves.
In other words, if given money, they might cultivate the thought that this is an
efficient way to earn a living-> those impoverished children will continue to beg
instead of finding another way to break the poverty cycle such as studying.

“Tiên học lễ, hậu học văn” is never outdated because:
It sets the foundation for education, and education is meant to make the world a
better place.
In order to achieve that goal of a brighter future without any crimes and
misfortunes, every citizen must embody the virtues of respect, kindness, and
altruism to be motivated to contribute to a more considerate and cohesive society.
In other cases, the lack of morals leads to many instances of fraud and corruption.
For example: Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, although he was Chairman of the Board of the
LFC corporation, he was brought to court with the accusation of manipulating the
market
It highlights the importance of a holistic education, where morals and talents
always go together.
For instance: Uncle Ho once said that a person who possesses talents but lacks
virtue is useless while vice versa is also true.
→ Therefore, it is of great importance that educators include both factors in their
teaching to create a fully developed generation.
It also represents the cultural identity of Vietnam, emphasizing the high regard for
virtues and manners and the value of knowledge acquisition of the forerunners.
