Studying abroad!
Education is the most important
thing in life for everyone. Nowadays, there are
many people who continue their studies outside
their country. They think that educations in other
countries is better than in their own country. But
does it mean that overseas study does good to
undergraduate students? I do not fully agree.

In fact, some people are for studying abroad for

several reasons. First, some foreign countries do
offer very good education. They have world-class
education methods and facilities. What's more,
since some countries have the most advanced
technology in certain scientific fields, you can
learn a lot of things in their college, which you
cannot learn in your own country. Improving
your language skills might help you get into
choice colleges and even land future jobs.
Colleges and employers know that studying
abroad provides leadership skills in a world that
is increasingly globally interconnected.

On the other hand, studying overseas has its
drawbacks. First, living overseas for many years
to study may cost a large amount of money. For
example, the cost of living and tuition fees for
one-year study in Australia may cost around
30,000 dollars. Moreover, the cost can increase
each year as a result of inflation all over the
world and that can cause financial troubles for
students' family. In addition, sometimes it is very
difficult to live in new cultures, which are
extremely different from yours. In addition, you
will probably have times when you miss your
family, friends, food, and everything familiar
when you realize that it is impossible to be at
home any time you want; you will understand
how difficult being away from your family is.

In conclusion, this essay has identified both

positive and negative aspects of studying abroad.
Despite the advantages of improving your skills,
studying abroad still has a pressure for students
and their family. Consequently, students should
think carefully about studying overseas to make

sure that they can adapt easily to new
environment.

Television. Is television harmful or useful?

Television is one of the
greatest achievements of the twentieth century.
It is the most popular part of mass media. Many
people enjoy watching television. However, some
people believe it can be harmful. Television has
changed our lives in many ways. There are many
benefits and dangers of television. Is television
harmful? Is it useful?

Firstly, television helps us to learn more about

the world and to know and see many new things.
Television can often present information to us in
a more effective way than books can. Secondly, it
entertains us. It is an enjoyable way to relax.
Television has also increased the popularity of
sports and arts. It has made us be aware of our
global responsibilities.

There are some people who are against
television. many people agree that television is
very harmful! Television can make us passive. We
do not have to think and our brains become lazy!
It is a fact. Television also encourages us to buy
things that we do not need. It takes time away
from reading, doing sports, meeting people and
etc. Television makes people violent. Many
parents use television to calm their children. They
put their children in front f the TV . They do not
care whether it exposes children to rubbish. They
see scenes of violence . Many of the television
programs are bad. Families sit and watch
television at dinner instead of talking with each
other. well, television takes up too much of our
time. So it is a very big problem!

In my opinion it would not be harmful if you

watch the television only sometimes - two hours
a day. It is enough to be in the course of the latest news
in the world. And do not forget about your family!

Social media is corrupting our youth
In recent years, the amount of
people using social media has increased
significantly, especially among the youth.
Everyone has a social media account like
Snapchat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter and
Facebook etc. The aim of this essay is to decide if
we should let children be introduced to social
media at a young age.

It is true that social media platforms provide us

with many benefits such as easy way of
communication that even language isn’t that big
of a barrier anymore. First of all, there are many
different type of people on social media, there
are models, influencers, celebrities, writers,
companies and mostly normal people. Secondly,
social media is where most of us get information
thee past few years.

Many people argue that social media is a must in

everyone’s life, and that it is okay to introduce
IELTS& National Exam Practice
children as young as 3 into it, that it’ll help them
grow and develop faster and adapt to the world
of technology, have somewhere to share their
good memories. Develop better communication
skills at a young age.

In contrast, it is also clear that ever since social

media became such a priority it has begun to
effect the youth in a negative way. Now
teenagers are so fixated on numbers of likes,
shares and comments, and that has gotten so
bad to the point that it has engraved the thought
of “if I don’t get ___ amount of likes” they’ll start
to think they’re ugly, worthless and so they start
comparing themselves to “popular” people on
the platform. That starts to implants negative
mental attitude that has led many teenagers into
depression, eating disorder and many other, and
that has led to corrupt our youth.

In conclusion, social media is a dual blade, has

many benefits if used correctly, but can also be
very dangerous and bad when used in a wrong

way. So to sum up, use it with caution and learn
to not priorities it so much or else it can and will
ruin your mental health which can lead your life
