LUBRICATION SCHEDULE:
EVERY 100 HOUR INSPECTION: (Use general purpose grease unless otherwise specified)
1. Jack tail wheel off ground, remove fork from housing, clean and grease bronze bushings
and wear plate by hand packing.
2. Remove tail wheel axle bolt, axle, dis-assemble tail wheel parts and clean and hand-pack
tail wheel bearings.
3. Grease fitting on both ends of control torque tube housings on cockpit floor.
4. Apply touch of grease to striker plate at door handles.
5. Apply touch of grease to spray pump brake lever slot.
6. Apply touch of grease to trim push-rods at fairlead locations.
7. Remove and pack main wheel bearings if conditions require it.
8. Apply grease to worm drive of Micro-control on spray lever and micro-adjust worm drive on
hopper handle.
9. Grease propeller using grease specified in Hartzell Maintenance Manual.
1. Door handles.
2. Clevis ends on power lever and condition lever and end swivels on engine push-pull cables.
(CAUTION: No oil on quadrant).
3. Control lock attachments at panel.
4. Trim tab hinges on elevators, rudder and ailerons.
5. Trim push-rods at idler and horn connections.
6. Tail wheel lock cable spring at eyebolt connection.
7. Centering spring bushing on tail wheel fork cap arm.
8. Shackle at end of tail wheel lock cable.
9. Bushing and bolt and ends of rudder horn.
10. Latch arm on seat belt.
11. Latch arms and adjust threads on hopper lid latch assembly.
12. Both ends of hopper gate push-rod outside aircraft.
13. Latch cams on fuel filler caps.
14. Micro-switch rollers on arms.
15. Bronze bushings in rudder pedal to master cylinder strap attach.
16. If aircraft is equipped with air conditioning system with engine driven compressor, remove
plug in side of drive pad assembly and check oil level. Service with turbine engine oil.

1. Clean and hand pack the Torrington bearings in the rear elevator idler.
2. Clean and hand pack the Torrington bearings in the 90° bellcranks attached to the flap
torque tube.
1. Remove flap actuator at fuselage rear spar tube and oil the bronze bushing and the steel
spacer bushing.
2. Remove the trim idler attached to the rear part of the fuselage frame and oil the bronze
bushing and steel spacer bushing.
3. Remove the spray lever and oil the bronze bushing inside.
4. Remove the gate push-pull tube outside the fuselage and oil the bronze bushing in the
forward end and the bearing in the aft end.
1. *Remove starter/generator and thoroughly clean male and female splines. Lubricate both
splines with above lubricant and re-install.
2. If aircraft has an air conditioning system with an engine-driven compressor, remove the
drive pad assembly from the engine and clean male and female splines. Lubricate both
splines with above lubricant and re-install.
CAUTION: Do not over-torque the drive pad attach bolts or thread damage to the
engine case may occur. Apply only 50 inch-pounds of torque to the
attach bolts.
*This is not required on engines having wet spline configuration. There are two ways you can
determine if your engine is set up for the wet spline starter-generator. The easiest is to check the
part number of the starter-generator. If it is p/n 23048-028, 23078-020, 250SG111Q-2-1, or
300SGL153Q-1, then it is a wet spline starter-generator. An alternate way to determine if your
engine is set up for the wet spline starter-generator is to inspect the starter-generator drive gear
spline. The starter-generator must be removed to accomplish this. If the internal drive gear spline
starts at the aft end of the gear, the engine is set up for the dry spline starter-generator. If the
internal spline starts approximately 1/2 inch into the bore of the drive gear, the engine is set up for
the wet spline starter-generator.
