12/12 Monday Bring in a white shirt to tie dye. 12/13 Math Club Tuesday 8:00am

Week of December 12, 2011 News and Announcements

Your fabulous children have earned another Wonderful party. This time, they would like a Groovy Disco themed party. We thought it would be fun to make tie dye shirts to wear to the party. Each child will need to bring in a plain white t-shirt to dye and we will take care of the t-shirt creation/dying at school on Tuesday. When the shirts are finished, I will send the t-shirts home in plastic bags to be washed in cold water and then worn to school on Friday for our party. I purchased a limited number of white shirts at Michaels today if anyone would like one. They are adult small/medium and would be $3 (the shirts run small). Please let me know if you would like one of the shirts for your child and if you are able to help while we create our special shirts. We will continue to get ready for the Artifact Museum this week - the artifact forms are due on WED. 12/14. We will finalize them in class. Artifacts should be brought to class on Tuesday or Wednesday, Dec. 20 or 21 for our museum on Thursday, Dec. 22 from 9:15-10:00 AM in the cafeteria! As the cooler temperatures arrive, please be sure your children are dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. Your children should have on a jacket if they wish to go outside for recess. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Warmly, Sandra Travers
