    BARANGAY MEMBERS OF BARANGAY CABINGTAN, ORMOC CITY HELD AT THE BARANGAY
    MULTI PURPOSE HALL ON JANUARY 12, 2023 AT 9:00 AM.

    RESOLUTION No. 2023-08

    A RESOLUTION CREATING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER AND PUBLIC SAFETY PLAN
    (BPOPS) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2022-2024.

    WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular 2015-63 dated June 16, 2015, pursuant to MC 98-227 and
    MC 99-236, directs all barangays to ensure that the Barangay Peace and Order and Public
    Safety Plan is created and implemented;

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Council is aware of the increasing multiple crime incidents which necessitate
    a more aggressive and unified stance against crimes to help ensure community peace and
    order;

    WHEREAS, the barangays, should include in the plan as one of the first line of defense, should lead the
    campaign for “KAPULISAN, SIMBAHAN, AT PAMAYANAN” (KASIMBAYANAN);

    WHEREAS, this menace can be addressed efficiently through the concerted efforts of concerned
    agencies and the Baarangay through a duly organized BPOPS;

    NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of SBM Ruben L. Parco, Committee Chairman on Peace and Order,
    duly seconded by SBM Judy T. Abohela Sr., Committee Chairman on Education, be it

    RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to CREATE THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER AND
    PUBLIC SAFETY PLAN (BPOPS) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2022-2024. With the following
    enhance composition and functions, to wit;

    Section 1. Composition:

    AND ORDER AND PUBLIC SAFETY PLAN (BPOPS) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2022-
    2024, with such composition as provided for above and duly designating.

    RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to DILG City Office, LIGA NG MGA
    BARANGAY, and other LGU Departments concerned for their information and record.
