A critical issue is something that creates a problem or concern
among a great number of people. It is a subject that people
discuss or argue about. It tends to be complex and usually not
easy to solve since it consists of interrelated problems that
need to be worked out systematically.
Three Types of Critical Issues

1. Social Issue is a group of common problems in present-day

society that many people strive to solve.
Examples: overpopulation, gender inequality, poverty, and
homelessness

feelings, and learnings that are often subjective and concern
yourself to discover your own morality. It has the potential to
help or harm others.

how to make value judgment on a critical issue.
Value Judgment refers to the rightness or wrongness of a
particular issue. It is a form of judgment based upon a particular
set of values or principles.
