    Power of Attorney

    Use this form if you want another person to follow up on your


    case on your behalf. The person you grant power of attorney
    to is called your agent. The agent must be 18 years of age or
    older.

    What does granting power of attorney entail?


    You decide which matter(s) your agent is authorised to handle
    and how long your authorisation will last. Granting an agent
    power of attorney via this form entails that
    • we contact your agent, not you
    • your agent has the right to view all your case documents
    • we send the decision on your case to your agent, not you
    • you may revoke your power-of-attorney authorisation at any
    time by sending an email to [email protected]

    Instructions
    To grant power of attorney to another person:
    • fill out this form
    • print out the form and sign it
    • make a copy of your passport (the page with your personal
    details and signature) or other valid form of identification
    (ID). Please note, your signature must be visible on the ID.
    • scan the form and the copy of your passport/ID, and upload
    it at www.udi.no/document

    If you are unable to upload documents via udi.no


    You may either
    • attach the form and the copy of your passport/ID in an email
    and send it to [email protected]
    or
    • send the form and the copy of your passport/ID by post to:
    Utlendingsdirektoratet, Postboks 2098 Vika, 0125 Oslo
    After you send in your documents, it will normally take one
    week before they register as received in our computer system.

    legal aid organisations
