The Imam, Shaykh ul-Islam, the lantern of Sunnah Abu Nasr Ahmed bin
Omar Bin Mohammed Bin Abdillah Bin Mohammed Bin Ali Bin Ishaaq

(Thabit’s student) asked: “What do you want with this (ie little finger) oh
Aba Mohammed”. Thabit raised his hand and struck Humayd’s chest

them is Al-Hayy (the Ever-living)
Chapter 7: Clarification of the evidence that Allah does not sleep
On the authority of Abu Musa, the Messenger of Allah ﷺwas standing
amongst us and (he said) four things: “Verily Allah does not sleep and it
does not befit Him to sleep. He raises the scale and lowers it. The deeds
of the day are raised to Him in the night and the deeds of the night in the
day. His veil is Fire if He were to remove it, the glory of his Face would
burn everything as far as His gaze reaches.”

is Allah” to which she replied by pointing with her hand to the heavens.
He ﷺthen asked (her): “Who am I?” to which she replied: “you are the
messenger of Allah”. He ﷺthen said (to her master): “Free her for she is
a believer”.
