Supplications (Adhkaar) For The Morning & Evening
Shaddad bin Aus narrates that Rasulullah stated that Sayyidul Istighfar
(the most loftiest of all types of repentance) is that a servant says (the below) once.
O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no God besides You, You created me, I am Your
slave and with all my strength, I remain steadfast to your promise and I beseech You
to forgive me any evil I may perform. I humbly affirm what You bestow upon me and
I plead guilty to my sins. Forgive me. For besides you there is none to forgive me.
I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, Who is Alone, Who has
no partner. The One God, only One, Independent, Who has neither taken
a wife nor children, and there is none equal to Him
(Mishkaat, At-Tirmidhi)
70’000 ANGELS SEEK FORGIVENESS
Ma'qbal bin Yasar narrates that Rasulullah said: "Whoever recites (the following)
du’a in the morning, 70’000 Angels are appointed by Allah who seek forgiveness on
behalf of that person till the evening. Should he die during the day, he will die as a martyr.
Whoever recites the du’a in the evening will enjoy the same virtue till the morning “.
Recite the above 3 times, thereafter the last 3 verses below of Surah Al-Hashr once,
It is mentioned anyone who testifies saying this Kalimah, Allah will open for
him all eight doors of Jannah, he may enter from whichever door he desires.
I testify that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah; He is one and has no
partner; and (I testify) that Muhammad is His servant and Apostle and that Isa (AS) Is
(no more than) the servant of Allah and His messenger And the sons of His bonds
woman and His word which He Bestowed on Mariam (AS) and a spirit proceeding
from Him. And (I testify) that Paradise is a truth and the fire is a truth
(Sahih Muslim, Al-Bukhari)
Pardoning One’s Sins
None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and
there is no might nor power except by Allah
(At Tirmidhi )

Sayyiduna Anas reported the prophet of Allah used to recite the below
comprehensive du’a for protection from all severe illnesses.
Hazrat Abbas reports that Rasulullah said, “Whoever says (the below) once
then indeed it will tire Seventy Angels for one thousand days (to record the reward).
May Allah reward Muhammad on our behalf such a reward that is due to him
Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but He alone.
In Him is my trust. He is the Lord of The Supreme Throne

O Allah! I ask You for Jannah And I seek Your protection from the Fire
(Tabarani, Al-Mu’jamul Kabir Hadith 11509 )
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said The Messenger of Allah never
abandoned this supplication, every morning and evening.
O Allah! I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in this world and in the Hereafter
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or earth
can cause harm. And He is the all-Seeing, all-Knowing
(At-Tirmidhi Book 16 Hadith 1457 )
Uthman bin Abu Al-’As Al-Thaqafi reported that he once complained of pain
that he felt in his body to our beloved Prophet Muhammad . Thereupon our
Beloved Prophet replied, “Place your hand at the place where you feel pain
in your body and recite bismillah thrice and the following seven times:
I seek refuge in Allah and His Power from the evil of what I am experiencing and of what I fear
(Sahih Muslim)

None has the right to be worship but Allah the Majestic, the compassionate.
None has the right to be worship but Allah the Lord of the Mighty Throne. None
has the right to be worship but Allah the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of
Earth and the Lord of the Honourable Throne
I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy of
worship except Him, The Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him
(Sahih Al-Bukhari )
Abu Hurairah reported the messenger of Allah said, “There are two statements
that are light for the tongue remember, heavy on the scales and are dear to the Merciful”.
Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, Allah, The Greatest is free from imperfection
(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Muslim )
Ibn Umar reported, “While we said prayer with the Messenger of
Allah one among the people said:
Allah is truly Great, praise be to Allah in abundance. Glory be to Allah in the morning & evening
The Messenger of Allah said: Who uttered such and such a word? A person among
the people said: It is l, Messenger of Allah (who have recited these words). He said:
It (utterance) surprised me, for the doors of heaven were opened for lt.
(Sahih Muslim /601)
One of the slaves of Allah said: (the below) The angels were uncertain and did not know
how to record this, so they ascended to heaven and said: 'O our Lord, Your slave has
said a word that we do not know how to write down.' Allah said - and He knows best
what His slave said - 'What did My slave say?' They said: (the below) Allah said to them:
'Write it down as My slave said it, until he meets Me and I shall reward him for it.”
O My Lord! All praises is due to You as is be Fitting to Your Glorious presence and Your
Greatest Sovereignty (Sunan Ibne Majah)
