SAYYIDUL—ISTIGHFAR

Shaddad bin Aus narrates that Rasulullah stated that Sayyidul Istighfar
(the most loftiest of all types of repentance) is that a servant says (the below) once.

O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no God besides You, You created me, I am Your
slave and with all my strength, I remain steadfast to your promise and I beseech You
to forgive me any evil I may perform. I humbly affirm what You bestow upon me and
I plead guilty to my sins. Forgive me. For besides you there is none to forgive me.

(Sahih Muslim Book 35 Hadith 6542, Mishkaat Shareef)

REWARD OF FOURTY MILLION GOOD DEEDS

Sayyidina Tamim Ad-Dari reported that the Rasulullah said,


"Whoever recites ten times (the below Kalimah), then Allah will record for
him (the reward) of fourty million good deeds.

I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, Who is Alone, Who has
no partner. The One God, only One, Independent, Who has neither taken
a wife nor children, and there is none equal to Him

(Mishkaat, At-Tirmidhi)
70’000 ANGELS SEEK FORGIVENESS
Ma'qbal bin Yasar narrates that Rasulullah said: "Whoever recites (the following)
du’a in the morning, 70’000 Angels are appointed by Allah who seek forgiveness on
behalf of that person till the evening. Should he die during the day, he will die as a martyr.
Whoever recites the du’a in the evening will enjoy the same virtue till the morning “.

Recite the above 3 times, thereafter the last 3 verses below of Surah Al-Hashr once,

(Mishkaat, Ibn Ahmed, Darini, At-Tirmidhi )

ENTER JANNAH FROM ANY DOOR

It is mentioned anyone who testifies saying this Kalimah, Allah will open for
him all eight doors of Jannah, he may enter from whichever door he desires.

I testify that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah; He is one and has no
partner; and (I testify) that Muhammad is His servant and Apostle and that Isa (AS) Is
(no more than) the servant of Allah and His messenger And the sons of His bonds
woman and His word which He Bestowed on Mariam (AS) and a spirit proceeding
from Him. And (I testify) that Paradise is a truth and the fire is a truth
(Sahih Muslim, Al-Bukhari)
Pardoning One’s Sins

Abdullah bin Amr narrated that: the Messenger of Allah said:


“there is not anyone upon the earth who says (the below) except that his sins
shall be pardoned, even if they were like the foam of the sea.”

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and
there is no might nor power except by Allah

(At Tirmidhi )

PROTECTION OF ONE’S DEEN, LIFE,


FAMILY & WEALTH

May the blessings of Allah be on my faith, life, children, family and wealth
(Kanzul Ummal )

PROTECTION AGAINST ALL SERIOUS DISEASES

Sayyiduna Anas reported the prophet of Allah used to recite the below
comprehensive du’a for protection from all severe illnesses.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from vitiligo (development of white patches


on the skin), insanity, leprosy and from serious diseases
(Abu Dawud, Riyad as-Salihin 1484 Book 16 Hadith 20 )
ADMISSION INTO JANNAH
According to a hadeeth, whosoever recites the above du’a thrice in the
morning and evening. It is upon Allah to please him on the Day of
Judgement, and admission into Jannah is a certainty for him.

I am content in believing in Allah as my Lord, Islam as my Religion


and Muhammad as the Messenger
(At-Tirmidhi Book 5 Hadith 465 )

REWARD WILL TIRE SEVENTY ANGELS

Hazrat Abbas reports that Rasulullah said, “Whoever says (the below) once
then indeed it will tire Seventy Angels for one thousand days (to record the reward).

May Allah reward Muhammad on our behalf such a reward that is due to him

(Tabarani, Al-Mu’jamul Kabir Hadith 11509 )

Juwairiyyah (r.a) (mother of the believers) reports that


Rasulullah said, "Whoever reads the following Kalimahs 3 times after Fajar Salah
will weigh more than the continuous dhikr of Allah from sunrise till mid morning.”

Glorified is Allah together with His praises in numbers equivalent to His


creatures, in a manner befitting His pleasure, in weight equal to His Throne
and in quantities equal to the ink of His words
(Abu Dawud, Riyad as-Salihin 1484 Book 16 Hadith 20 )
ELIMANATION OF GRIEF
Abu Darda narrates that Allah’s messenger mentioned,
“Whosoever recites (the below) 7 times morning & evening Allah will suffice
for him by removing his grief of this world and the hereafter.

Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but He alone.
In Him is my trust. He is the Lord of The Supreme Throne
(Sunan Abu Dawud 5081)

DU’A FOR PARADISE & PROTECTION


FROM THE HELL-FIRE
It was narrated that Anas said: The Prophet said: “Whoever asks Allah for
Paradise three times, Paradise will say, ‘O Allah, admit him to Paradise.’ Whoever seeks
protection from the Fire three times, Hell will say, ‘O Allah, protect him from the Fire.’”

O Allah! I ask You for Jannah And I seek Your protection from the Fire
(Tabarani, Al-Mu’jamul Kabir Hadith 11509 )

DU’A FOR FORGIVENESS & AAFIYAH

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said The Messenger of Allah never
abandoned this supplication, every morning and evening.

O Allah! I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in this world and in the Hereafter

(Abu Dawud, Riyad as-Salihin 1484 Book 16 Hadith 20 )


Rasulullah mentioned, "Whosoever recites (the below) du'a 3 times
in the morning and evening will not be harmed by anything.“

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or earth
can cause harm. And He is the all-Seeing, all-Knowing
(At-Tirmidhi Book 16 Hadith 1457 )

PROTECTION AGAINST LEPROSY, BLINDNESS,


INSANITY & PARALYSIS
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas reports that Rasulullah said, “When dawn breaks
and you have performed your Fajr salaah, then recite (the below du’a) three times. You
will be protected from Leprosy, blindness, insanity & paralysis”.

Glorified be Allah, the Magnificent, and all praise is His.


And there is no power, no might besides that of Allah
(Musnad Ahmad Vol 5,Tabarani)

THE ULTIMATE PAINKILLER

Uthman bin Abu Al-’As Al-Thaqafi reported that he once complained of pain
that he felt in his body to our beloved Prophet Muhammad . Thereupon our
Beloved Prophet replied, “Place your hand at the place where you feel pain
in your body and recite bismillah thrice and the following seven times:

I seek refuge in Allah and His Power from the evil of what I am experiencing and of what I fear
(Sahih Muslim)

SURAH AL-E IMRAAN VERSE 26 & 27


The Prophet said, there is no-one who is afflicted by distress and grief, and
says (the above), but Allah will take away his distress and grief, and replace it with
joy." He was asked: "O Messenger of Allah, should we learn this?" He said: "Of
course; everyone who hears it should learn it.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Muslim)

None has the right to be worship but Allah the Majestic, the compassionate.
None has the right to be worship but Allah the Lord of the Mighty Throne. None
has the right to be worship but Allah the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of
Earth and the Lord of the Honourable Throne

Abu Sa'eed narrated that Rasulullah said,


"A person who says (the below) three times when he retires to bed, (the below) except
that his sins shall be pardoned, even if they were like the foam of the sea.”

I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy of
worship except Him, The Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him
(Sahih Al-Bukhari )

Abu Hurairah reported the messenger of Allah said, “There are two statements
that are light for the tongue remember, heavy on the scales and are dear to the Merciful”.

Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, Allah, The Greatest is free from imperfection
(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Muslim )
Ibn Umar reported, “While we said prayer with the Messenger of
Allah one among the people said:

Allah is truly Great, praise be to Allah in abundance. Glory be to Allah in the morning & evening

The Messenger of Allah said: Who uttered such and such a word? A person among
the people said: It is l, Messenger of Allah (who have recited these words). He said:
It (utterance) surprised me, for the doors of heaven were opened for lt.
(Sahih Muslim /601)

A DU’A WHOSE REWARD IS KEPT SECRET

One of the slaves of Allah said: (the below) The angels were uncertain and did not know
how to record this, so they ascended to heaven and said: 'O our Lord, Your slave has
said a word that we do not know how to write down.' Allah said - and He knows best
what His slave said - 'What did My slave say?' They said: (the below) Allah said to them:
'Write it down as My slave said it, until he meets Me and I shall reward him for it.”

O My Lord! All praises is due to You as is be Fitting to Your Glorious presence and Your
Greatest Sovereignty (Sunan Ibne Majah)

For The Cure Of Any Illness

O Allah, Lord of mankind, do away with my suffering. Heal (me)


as You are the only Healer and there is no cure except that of Yours,
it is that which leaves no ailment behind
(Sahih Al Bukhari)

GOOD DEEEDS EQUAL TO EACH


BELIEVING MAN AND WOMAN

‘Ubadah ibn al-Samit reported: The Messenger of Allah said,


“Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and women, Allah will
record a good deed for him by each believing man and woman.”

O Allah! Forgive me and the believing men and women


and the Muslim men and women
