    Scope: Maintenance and Calibration Contract of


    Weighbridge
    Number of Weighbridges: 3
    Calibration Weight: 20 Tons
    Deadweight: FCCL
    Contractors Scope of Work:
    1. Detail inspection of foundation / civil works.
    2. Detail inspection of platform regarding nut bolts, welding, girder cracks, plate
    cracks, stoppers and platform movement.
    3. Detail inspection of load cells, cable and junction box.
    4. Detail inspection of weighing indicator
    5. Cornering / displacement error check (Normally +/- 10kg tolerance allowed,
    maximum +/- 20 kg tolerance allowed).
    6. Communication with PC / Software check.
    7. Special skilled / qualified persons of contractor must carry out necessary
    maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, adjustment and calibration.
    8. Calibration and service of weighbridge must be conducted by contractor after
    every 2 x months.
    9. Specially trained mechanics for re verification by the government inspector
    once in a year or as and when required will be arranged by the Contractor.
    10. Food, accommodation will be in FCCL scope while traveling is in scope of
    contractor.
    11. Stamping of weighbridge from the concerned government inspector shall be
    arranged by the contractor.
    12. The contractor shall provide backup service for PC and indicator if the same
    found out of order till the time of its repair / replacement.
    13. Repairing of all the equipment will be carried out free of cost. In case of
    replacement of parts actual charges will be paid by FCCL.
    14. The Contractor must carry out all Inspection, testing, maintenance under the
    supervision of its Engineer/ Expert Staff.
    15. The Contractor shall submit its service invoices to company after successful
    completion of services on monthly basis.
    16. The contractor must provide services on Sundays, National holidays and
    during off hours on working days, if required.
    17. The Contractor must visit for maintenance within 24 hours in case of
    breakdown / emergency and must provide these services free of charge.
    18. The Contactor shall provide the list of new component/material (if required)
    within 30 days after approval from the company and same should be invoiced
    separately as new parts.
    19. The Contractor must provide original documents/drawings (if any) of the
    supplied components.
    20. The Contractor shall inform the COMPANY one month before in case of any
    spare part placement or if any modification/ upgradation required.

    21. The Contractor shall submit a risk assessment report on quarterly basis.
    22. The Contractor shall maintain the inventory of essential parts.
    23. The Contractor shall ensure that the workers employed by him to perform the
    services hereunder shall abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the
    COMPANY whilst on COMPANY’s premises.
    24. The Contractor will be responsible for the Safety of its labor / staff. Contractor
    will issue Safety Shoes, Safety Helmets, Safety Belts, Masks/respirators and
    other PPE's in accordance with the worker’s requirements as per FCCL Safety
    Instructions on his own expense. Labor, drivers will not wear loose dress.
    25. The Contractor shall be fully responsible for wages, allowances, medical
    expenses, group insurance, employees old age benefits, social security,
    minimum wage and other entitlements, under the labor law of Pakistan, to all
    its employees, whether they are employed or subcontracted by the Contractor
    and will provide proof of the same as and when demanded by the Company.
    26. The Contractor shall be fully responsible for any accident/death /injuries
    sustained by any of its worker(s) concerned or his legal heirs as per the law.
    The company shall not be held responsible for any such accident, death,
    injuries or claims.
    27. The Contractor must take all safety measures for the protection of its
    employees at own cost and responsibility according to HSE Policy
    28. The Contractor has to execute the maintenance activities as per Company’s
    satisfaction technically.
