PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSIFICATION

CYCLING
It has been part of the Olympic program since the
first modern edition of the Games, where only track
events were held. The modality currently is road
cycling. Although any type of bicycle is allowed.
Types of Competition:
30Km race in a platoon.
5 km Against the Clock.

GOLF
It is a precision sport, whose objective is to introduce
a ball into the holes that are distributed on the
course with the fewest number of strokes, using one
of a set of clubs for each type of stroke. This sport
was part of the Olympic program twice: in the 1900
Paris Games and later in St. Louis 1904, where only
men's competitions were held, and the United States
and Canada were the only participants. At the 2016
Rio Games, after being absent for 112 years, golf
returned to the Olympic Games.

SWIMMING
Swimming is a sport that most people can practice, regardless of their age.
Incredible cardiopulmonary resistance, control of pressure and overweight, and
development of most muscle groups are some of its benefits, which are optimized
if you think about the low impact it has on the body.

Types of Competition:
50m. Free
100m. Free

50m. Chest

50m. Back
50m. Butterfly
200m. Individual Medley
4×50 Free Women's Relay and Medley
4×50 Men's Free Relay and Medley
TENNIS
Tennis is one of the most recommended exercises
from a health point of view because it improves
physical resistance and enhances speed along with
strength, as long as it is practiced with caution and
due preparation.
Types of Competition:
Male and female single.
Women's, men's and mixed doubles.

TABLE TENNIS
Table tennis is a very good sport for people who
suffer from some physical handicap, who integrate
with the rest of the players, handicapped or not.
These players, regardless of the fact that there are
specific competitions, are part of the regular
championships and leagues, many of them
participating in national leagues (some playing in a
wheelchair. Types of Competition:
Male and female single.
Male and female doubles.

MINIMARATON 5 km
Training to run a mini-marathon hardens the body,
makes it more resistant, and the "depth" that is
acquired is unsurpassed. Running a mini-marathon
is one of the toughest disciplines that exist. But no
matter how well prepared you are physically, there
comes a time when continuing and finishing the
race is a matter of decision, discipline and will.
SQUASH
Squash, in addition to being an excellent regulator
of body weight, also helps keep fit and sharpen
reflexes. The light weight of the rackets means that
elbow injuries, so typical in tennis, do not occur in
squash.
Types of Competition:
Male and female single.
Male and female doubles.

VOLLEY
Volleyball is one of the sports where there is greater
parity between women's and men's competitions,
both due to the level of competition and popularity,
presence in the media and public that follows the
teams. 8 players are needed per team (2 of them
female).

PETANQUE
Sports discipline similar to bocce ball. Metal balls
are used and can be played individually or as a
couple. A very popular sport in Europe and Oceania
and Africa.
BADMINTON
It is a racket sport in which two players or two
pairs located on opposite halves of a rectangular
court divided by a net compete . Unlike other
racket sports, badminton is not played with a ball,
but with a feather or shuttlecock.
Types of Competition:
Male and female single.
Male and female doubles.

VIRTUAL TRIATHLON
Types of Competition:
Individual.
This discipline is disputed in 3 days. First it will be
the turn of the 400-meter freestyle swimming, the
next day they will run the 5 km of running and
finally they will compete in the 30 km of cycling.
The winner will be the one who has the best time
combining the 3 disciplines.

PADEL (Paddle)
It is a sport practiced since the 80s. It is played in
pairs. It is very popular in Mexico, Argentina,
Brazil, Canada, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, United
Kingdom, Portugal and Spain.
Types of Competition:
Male and Female Doubles.
