^ Before using the excavator, all operators must undergo the necessary training to correctly operate all its
functions.
^ Before working on the machine, practice and learn the correct use of all levers in a safe and unobstructed
location.

Before operating, servicing or maintaining this machine make sure you read and understand the
contents of this manual.
^ Always have this manual at hand, on the machine itself. If you lose or damage it, immediately request a new copy from
your Takeuchi dealer.
If you sell the machine, be sure to give the manual to the new owner.
^ Takeuchi machines meet the regulations and standards of the places to which they are exported. If you have purchased
your machine in another country, or from a person or company in another country, your machine may not have security
systems or may not comply with the regulations in force in your country. If you want to check if your machine complies
with the regulations and standards in force in your country, or have any questions about your machine, contact your

The user assumes all responsibility for compliance with current legislation and
regulations, and compliance with the manufacturer's instructions regarding the
operation, inspection and maintenance of this excavator.
Experience shows that almost all accidents occur due to non-compliance with safety
regulations and precautionary measures. However, by being aware of potentially
dangerous situations, accidents can be avoided in most cases. Make sure you have
read and understood all safety instructions on accident prevention. The excavator must
not be used, inspected or manipulated by persons without proper knowledge.
^ WARNINGS
The safety instructions contained in this manual and on the decals on the machine are
identified by the following headings: "DANGER", "WARNING" and "CAUTION". Its
meaning is described below:
IMPORTANT: The word "IMPORTANT" warns the user and maintenance personnel
of the excavator of situations in which the excavator or any of its work equipment
may be damaged.
It is impossible to foresee all dangerous situations. Even the safety warnings in this
manual and on the machine cannot cover all eventualities. The excavator can only be
used by expert personnel, always maintaining the usual safety measures to avoid
damage to the machine and injuries to the operator or other people.

During the first 100 hours of operation of the new excavator (according to the hour
meter), the instructions in this point must be followed.
Improper handling of a new excavator during the break-in period causes a reduction in
performance and, depending on the circumstances, the useful life of the machine.
• Wait until the engine and hydraulic system are warm.
• Avoid heavy loads and fast movements. The load must not exceed 80% of the
maximum load.
• Do not start, accelerate, change direction or stop abruptly (unless necessary).
