Before operating, servicing or maintaining this machine make sure you read and understand the
contents of this manual.
^ Always have this manual at hand, on the machine itself. If you lose or damage it, immediately request a new copy from
your Takeuchi dealer.
If you sell the machine, be sure to give the manual to the new owner.
^ Takeuchi machines meet the regulations and standards of the places to which they are exported. If you have purchased
your machine in another country, or from a person or company in another country, your machine may not have security
systems or may not comply with the regulations in force in your country. If you want to check if your machine complies

The user assumes all responsibility for compliance with current legislation and
regulations, and compliance with the manufacturer's instructions regarding the

Experience shows that almost all accidents occur due to non-compliance with safety

INTRODUCTION
FOREWORD
This manual describes the operation, inspection and maintenance of the excavator, as
well as the safety measures that must be applied.
For more information, please contact a Takeuchi dealer or customer service.

EXCAVATOR DESCRIPTION
^ Front, back, left and right

In this manual, the position indications
"front", "rear", "left" and "right" refer to the
subjective position of the driver, sitting
facing the dozer blade.
^ Intended use
Use this machine primarily for the
following operations:
• Excavations
• Ditches
• Side ditches
• Level

• Short outer radius of the movement of the chamber where the maneuvering motor is
housed
• Mini excavator with rubber tracks
• Low engine noise and exhaust emissions
• Piloting controls operated by omnidirectional lever (joystick)
• Electronic control of the auxiliary hydraulic circuit on the left control
• Electronic deceleration button on the right controller
• Swing damping system that facilitates bucket handling
• Emergency stop system
• Tilting platform for easy access to the main unit
• Hydraulic chain tension
^ Filming period
During the first 100 hours of operation of the new excavator (according to the hour
meter), the instructions in this point must be followed.
Improper handling of a new excavator during the break-in period causes a reduction in
performance and, depending on the circumstances, the useful life of the machine.
• Wait until the engine and hydraulic system are warm.
• Avoid heavy loads and fast movements. The load must not exceed 80% of the
maximum load.
• Do not start, accelerate, change direction or stop abruptly (unless necessary).
