THE GIRL ON THE STAIR

A few years ago, in a beautiful house in the middle of the countryside, there lived a
family of three children and their mother, who soon became involved with a man, making
him the stepfather of the little ones, but; This guy was very violent, he mistreated the
children for no reason, he took away their food, denied them water, he even hit them just
for fun.

Although he treated the three children very badly, he seemed to have a greater hatred for
his 10-year-old daughter, whom he hit more savagely, one day going so far as to throw
her down the stairs... and the little girl died instantly.

To avoid facing punishment for what happened, the rest of the family fled to some
unknown city.

The house passed into the hands of another family, which did not last long, as they often
heard the little girl's voice asking for help.

The next people who lived in that house stayed long enough to hear her cry and scream in
the middle of the night, talking when people had their backs turned and when they turned
around they saw nothing... she also sometimes knocked on the door to ask for some
water. , but; The most disturbing thing about her presence was when she stood on the
stairs... because it is not known if she was taking care of the others so that they would not
fall, or on purpose she appeared to throw them as they did with her and they would suffer
the same fate.

Her intentions remain unknown, because until now the fact of seeing her has been enough
for many families... and the house now remains abandoned because that girl will be there
forever.
LEGEND OF THE TWINS
A happy family lived very close to a busy road. Because of this, the young mother
accompanied them to school daily and the three of them walked hand in hand, taking
special care when they came across the aforementioned road. They were allowed to cross
alone.

One of many days the mother received an urgent call from work on her cell phone which
she had to answer, they demanded her presence immediately, so she found it necessary to
let the twins continue the journey alone.

With great regret he said goodbye to the girls, giving instructions not to let go of each
other's hands and to be very careful when crossing. The two little girls followed their
mother's instructions, looked at both sides of the road, and when they saw that it was
clear, they crossed.

The mother was barely turning to change direction when a very loud bang was heard
behind her. She turned around immediately to see with terror that her daughters were
under a truck. They were run over and lost their lives instantly.

The grief lasted a long time, but after four years, the mother gave birth to twins again.
They were very similar to her deceased sisters, which made her remember that fatal
accident. This time he had a terrible obsession with their care and did not allow them to
be near any danger, especially that dreaded road.

But he couldn't be behind them 24 hours a day, and one day, they found themselves very
close to the dangerous place, determined to cross, they looked to both sides, there was no
car, with a step on the asphalt, they were suddenly grabbed by the shoulder by her
mother, who was crying uncontrollably, saying -Don't cross- to which she received an
unexpected response from the two little girls: -We weren't thinking of crossing, they
already ran over us once, it won't happen again…-

LEGEND OF THE HEARTLESS WOMAN

Legend has it that some time ago, in a small town in Spain, whose name has been decided to be
forgotten, a terrible event happened, capable of frightening more than one.
There was a happy marriage, which loved each other like no other. From that union, a girl was
born, who as she grew up, developed an unhealthy love for her father and an excessive hatred for
her own mother. She constantly told her father that she wanted to marry him, and that she wished
her mother would die so they could be happy forever. The man's reaction was anger of course, he
didn't want to think about a similar situation. But that didn't take long to happen.
During the funeral, the poor man was torn to pieces from the pain, while the girl tried at all costs
to hide a devilish smile, which she barely contained, because her dreams were becoming reality,
she seemed to have made a pact with the lord of the darkness, how is so much evil possible in
such a small girl?
As the days passed, the man sank into a deep depression, but he couldn't help but notice that his
little girl showed total integrity in the face of the fact, encouraging him at all times. Without
knowing that in reality her daughter's good spirits were due to knowing that her mother was no
longer here.
One afternoon the girl went out to the park with her friends, and her father ordered her a pig's
heart for dinner. But when he finished playing, the butcher shop was closed, so he had the
macabre idea of desecrating his mother's grave and ripping out her heart... so he didn't hesitate to
eat it during dinner with his father.
When she was in her bed, the girl began to hear a whisper, a faint and familiar voice, it seemed
to go deeper into the house, until the point where the girl managed to hear: -Daughter, give me
back the heart that you have stolen from me! !- along with this phrase the stairs creaked, some
steps approached the entrance... the knob turned slowly, until the door opened, the ghost of the
mother entered the room, extending her accusing finger to the heart of the little girl , which along
with a last sigh of horror, stopped beating... died of pure terror.
Since then the spirit of “The Heartless Woman” has been seen wandering, some say attacking
girls to quench her thirst for revenge, others say she simply cries for lost love…and will continue
like this for an eternity.
THE GHOST OF THE AVENUE
Lázaro Cárdenas Avenue is a very important road in Guadalajara, Jalisco. It connects
with the town of Chápala, and is well known for the large number of accidents that
happen there. You can count at least one a day, some too strong with deadly
consequences. The cause is identified as a woman who mysteriously appears in the
middle of the road, distracting drivers. When they try to avoid her, they suffer fatal
mishaps and many others claim to have run over her.

Many witnesses say that these events are caused by a presence from beyond, which
appears late at night, in the middle of the darkness, crossing in front of cars, causing
accidents left and right.

It is well known that places where tragic deaths occur conserve the energies of the people
who died there, some become so impregnated that they remain wandering for an
indefinite time, repeating their deadly outcome over and over again.
According to statements made by the injured people, they feel that they are running over
her, even that they are tearing her to pieces with their cars, but when the emergency
services look for the injured person, they cannot even find traces that someone has been
injured outside the vehicle, they extend their search to the nearby trees also without
results. Therefore, after so many incidents, they have come to take it as something
common, without being surprised to hear the same story over and over again.

It is said that apparently this place was a stop for cargo trucks, where the drivers of the
units stopped to rest, eat their food and sometimes hire the services of women of the
gallant life, it is thought that one of them was strangled. or murdered, and now thirsty for
revenge, she crosses in front of cars causing accidents.

bond, the woman seeing her family formed, the needs of her children for a full-time Father
begins to ask that the relationship be formalized, the gentleman He avoided her on every
occasion, perhaps out of fear of what people would say. Being a member of society at its highest
levels, he thought a lot about the opinions of others and that connection with an indigenous
woman could affect his status too much.

After the woman's insistence and the gentleman's denial, some time later, the man left her to
marry a high-society Spanish lady. When the Indigenous woman found out, hurt by the betrayal
and deception, totally desperate, she took her three children, taking them to the banks of the
river, hugging them tightly with the deep love she professed for them, and plunged them into the
river until they drowned. And then end his own life because he could not bear the guilt of the
acts committed.

her windows see a woman dressed entirely in white, thin, calling her children and disappearing

the mestizo refused, so thinking about the greed of this young man, the brothers decided
to give him a lot. money on the condition that he would live away from the city. The man

him. One night of anguish in which he could no longer bear the lack of Arrutia, he
hanged himself from a peach tree in the courtyard of the convent. She was buried in the
local cemetery.

A month later, the ghost of the hanged Mary began to appear every night, reflecting in the
waters of the convent's fountain when a novice or nun saw her face.

The mothers superior prohibited the nuns from going out to the garden after sunset.

These appearances continued for a long time afterwards. Not even in death did she

importance and said: -it must be a Cat, go to sleep!

The poor child would wake up in the middle of the night, scared, because moaning could
be heard on the ceiling of his bed, and the sound of a can rolling continuously from one
place to another. He called his parents, but they ordered him to go back to sleep from his
room. He even tried to sleep with them, but they also prevented him.

On one of many occasions, the couple was woken up in the middle of the night by a
terrified scream coming from the child's room, and after that they couldn't find him
anywhere. They notified the authorities and the next day, when they returned home after
a long day looking for their son, they saw a boat tied with a rope hanging from the roof.

With some anger, the man goes up to the roof, and sees another can thrown on the roof of
his son's bedroom. As he approaches, he sees his son in a corner, sitting on his haunches,
hugging his legs. His body is completely scratched and His face shows a gesture of
infinite terror... Lifeless!

The couple moved, but in their new home, in the middle of the night they were awakened
by the sound of a boat rolling on the roof, and standing in front of their bed, they saw
their son saying: "The noise from up there scares me."

After that they did not see him again, but every year on the anniversary of his death, the
noise of the boat and the crying of the child are heard.
LEGEND OF THE BALL BOY
It is said that located on Av. López Mateos of the state in Aguascalientes, Mexico, there is an
office building, where some employees usually leave a little later than usual. On that occasion a
girl had boarded the elevator and a man hurrying a short distance away asked her to wait for him.

Kindly the girl stood between the doors to prevent them from closing. The man boarded, and as
they said good night, they noticed the elevator going up.

The fact seemed a little strange to them, since it was supposed to be programmed not to go
beyond that floor, since the one above was closed and no one worked there.

The elevator stopped on the fourth floor, but the doors did not open because they thought it had
been a temporary failure, but they managed to hear the laughter of a child, who was playing with
a ball. Without giving them time to think anything, the elevator went down, when they came out
they saw the nightstand and told him what had happened.

The man very calmly tells them that he has also heard it, that it is the spirit of a child who died
there years ago, when his ball ended up on the fourth floor, the boy went for it and when he saw
that a guard was approaching, He hid to make a joke, but the moment the boy came out
screaming, the guard shot him thinking he was a thief.

Since then the child plays quietly on the fourth floor, whoever stays late can hear the laughter,
the footsteps, the hitting of the ball against the floor.

Others without so much luck have seen the ball go down the stairs when the child falls from the
floor above, the child's small hands are marked with burns... after this people quit their jobs,
because it is known that behind of a ball... a child always comes... and they would not like to
run into the deceased little one.
THE WELL OF CHAINS
Tecate is a city in Baja California, located at the end of a dangerous highway known as
“La Rumorosa.” Around 1910, at the time of the Revolution, a very peaceful and hard-
working couple lived there. It was a couple without children. The man cultivated the land
and his wife took care of the house. At that time there were not many people around.

One day some men appeared who had been walking for several hours under the hot
sun. Very tired and thirsty, they saw the man working in his crops and politely asked him
for some water. The farmer had already drunk every last drink, but thinking about the
bad time those strangers were having, he invited them to his house to give them water
from the well.

There his wife received them and they greeted her by taking off their hats, drank all the
water they could, ate like shipwrecked people and talked long and pleasantly. It was
beginning to get dark and they showed no signs of wanting to leave, so the kind hosts
prepared a place for them to sleep. As the hours passed, a scream tore through the
silence of the early morning, a scream that echoed in the distance, warning of the
proximity of death in the surrounding area.

It is not known what happened for sure, but it is said that the strangers were bloody
criminals who tried to rob the kind man. Those strangers with hearts of stone apparently
enjoyed the suffering of all those victims they tortured without remorse. Well, they killed
the man with a cruelty that the inhabitants of that area had never seen: they tied him
with chains, they took out his eyes, they threw him into the well and then they threw
stones on him to cover his drowned body. Nothing was ever heard from his wife and the
assailants.

There are those who say that at night the sounds of chains, moans of crying and even
chilling screams of despair come out of the well. They say it's a pity in search of his
missing wife and the damned people who murdered her, in the mornings you can clearly
see the footprints of her chained feet. When you are close, you can clearly hear the
sound of the stones hitting the water in the well. And there are certain unfortunate
people who, when they have passed near the well in the early morning, have heard
bubbles, as if someone was drowning. Other few, with a brave attitude, who have dared
to look into the well, have seen a large face, of a spectral whitish blue, screaming with
eyes flooded with anguish; and ascending, ascending as if to want to contact the
frightened visitor.
THE NUN OF THE CATHEDRAL
Legend has it that in the 1950s and during the French intervention in Mexico, a nun named
“Beatriz,” who lived in a small convent on the outskirts of the state of Durango, fell in love with
a French soldier, whose military barracks was nearby. from that place.

Every day and at the same time the young soldier passed with his troops along the main avenue
in front of the convent and Beatriz always saw him from a window in her bedroom.

One day, the soldier named “Fernando” arrives at the doors of the convent asking the nun for
help because the Mexican army had ambushed them and in the exchange of shots he was
wounded. At that moment and seeing the desperate situation of the French fighter, Beatriz
decides to give him asylum for a couple of days while he recovers his health.

As the days passed, Beatriz and Fernando fell in love with each other. Shortly after, the soldier
had to retire, since it was the end of the consummation of the French intervention, but not before
sadly saying goodbye to his beloved, to whom he promised to return one day. While his troops
searched for a place to hide, the Mexican army found his whereabouts and shot all the soldiers,
including Fernando.

Beatriz did not know what had happened to her lover because it had been months since his
departure. At no time did she lose hope and every day she went to the bell tower of the town's
cathedral to wait for Fernando's return.

Unfortunately something tragic happened, one morning while the priest opened the main door of
the religious temple, he noticed the body of a woman who was lying lifeless, apparently she had
fallen from the bell tower from a height of more than 30 meters. Days later, the identity of the
victim, Beatriz, was discovered, who was surely waiting as usual for the return of her lover.

Since that tragic event, some residents who walk around the Durango cathedral claim to see the
silhouette of a woman in the bell tower every night. Could it be the late Beatriz who still
continues to implore the arrival of her loved one?

LEGEND OF THE BRIDE'S GHOST

The subway line A stations in Buenos Aires, Argentina, could easily fall into the category
of the most haunted in the world due to the large number of ghostly stories that unfold
inside them.

Currently, in this underground network inaugurated in 1913, more legends circulate than
cars, coupled with the intermittent lights, the distant trips between each stop and the
aroma of old wood, have made it the ideal place for a “Ghost Tour” in which Horror
lovers can go and have a good time.

One of the many ghost stories involves the ghost of a bride, a strange woman who
wanders between the Alberti and Pasco stations dressed in a beautiful white dress. It is
said many years ago, this poor woman was at the altar waiting for her future husband, but
he never arrived, instead, her friends showed up to announce to the girl the young man's
repentance.

The news of such escape and abandonment was more than the woman could bear, she ran
out of the church, crying out loud, and went to silence her despair by throwing herself
onto the subway tracks. Since then, every Saturday, at the time when the wedding should
have taken place, this incarnated entity dressed in white began to materialize.

They say that as time went by, the groom was fatally stabbed on San José Street and then
the ghost of the bride found peace, since she was never seen floating through the stations
again.

Although today this paranormal manifestation has taken a break, there is no reason to get
discouraged, the next time you travel on line A pay close attention, because there is still
the slaughter of the toilet, the ghost station and the cemetery caretaker to tear you away.

his downfall, in one of the many curves he lost the road. control to crash into some rocks. As an
act of good luck, the driver did not die in the accident, having time to get off the trailer, all dazed,
he checked his body to realize that he was without a scratch. After shaking off the shock, he sat
on the side of the road hoping that someone passing by could help him. After being tired, the
man fell asleep, when he woke up it was already night, and he decided to walk, since the
weather is extremely cold in winter.

Thinking that the exit was close, he walked and walked for hours, but to his amazement, so
much progress only took him to the same place as the accident. Three days later the truck was
found, but with no sign of the driver. Until one day, on the aforementioned road, a man was
signaling for someone to stop, when he finally achieved his goal:
—Friend, my name is Francisco Vázquez and I urgently need my wife to receive money
because she is going to have a child. I can't go, my trailer broke down and I can't leave it here -
He said to the charitable soul who stopped in the middle of nowhere - yes, sir, I will gladly take it
to you - the young man answered - tell me where your wife lives - he added. The man handed
him a paper with his wife's address and name. The young man said goodbye, continuing on his
way to Mexicali.

The next day, with his order, the young man went in search of the lady, without success, since
she no longer lived at the address they had given him. As a good Samaritan, he made several
attempts, until an old woman told him where he could find her. Mrs. He arrived at the place and
knocked on the door. — Tell me young man? - The lady asked him, - Excuse me, does Mr.
Francisco Vázquez's wife live here? -, - It's me - she answered - what do you offer? - -

broke down... -, - It can't be! —The lady interrupted him, covering her mouth—My husband died
five years ago. With trembling legs, the young man left the money to the woman, who was
immersed in tears.

The young man arrived home still confused by what had happened, but the scare returned when
he closed the door, because the ghost of Francisco Vázquez was standing in a corner, thanking
him.

Legend has it that this ghost truck driver appears to many asking them for the same order, and
after so many years, his wife is still receiving the money.

contract signed with his own blood.

After what happened, Juan received a visit from a very elegant man at his house; they
could be heard unloading money. And Mr. Ruiz became rich. As time went by, his
attitude was strange, he seemed restless. After pressure from his relatives, he told them
that he had pledged his soul and that he included other members of his family in that
contract.

Having said the above, Juan Ruiz fled to the mountains. Relatives and neighbors went in
search of him, armed with wax, palms and holy water. They almost caught up with him,
but a black cloud appeared on the road and when it cleared, he was already very far away.

They followed his footprints, and discovered that along with his footprints, there were
also those of a goat. They found one of their huaraches on the way, and when they
reached the rock cave they found the other one. At the entrance to the cave, a sign written
in blood that said: “here in this cave Juan Ruiz is discharged.”

their descendants have died tragically.

The locals say that due to the pact made with the Devil.

ROCKING CHAIR
An essential item in many families in Mexico with an elderly member is a rocking chair. Many
of these elderly people put them in front of the house so they can see people coming and going,
while they are lulled to sleep by the gentle sway of the rocking chair.
One day a young man who did not have enough resources to buy one for his beloved
grandmother, was lucky enough to find it halfway along the path he traveled daily from work,
with some damage, he thought about fixing it and took it home. , he took her straight to his room,
because he wanted to fix it first before giving the surprise to his grandmother, but due to lack of
time, it only served to accumulate clothes on top of her.

One night he thought he saw the chair rocking, it didn't seem possible, but in an instant the
clothes fell to the floor. Paying more attention, he realized that the rocking chair was moving,
back to front, back to front slowly and smoothly. The boy was somewhat afraid, to prevent him
from growing he decided to leave the room, but before he could reach the door, it closed with a
single blow that echoed throughout the room, also hearing a "clack, clack" sound.

Like the one with the lock, no matter how hard he tried to open it, he couldn't, seeing how the
clothes were scattered all over the floor, by someone or something he couldn't see, his eyes
focused on the rocking chair, which moved every time. faster, along with a loud sound of a stick
hitting the ground, he retreated towards the corner, from which he could see, a little old man
sitting in the rocking chair, tapping his cane on the floor, demanding that the young man let the
chair It didn't belong to him, he stood up with every intention of breaking his head with the cane,
but with his hand up he vanished.

The rocking chair was then left in a sudden movement and the boy only had to return it to the
place where he found it.

Legend has it that people create attachments to things, which even in death do not cease to be
their property, and they take care of them for all eternity, much more so if it was the place where
they died.
THE LEGEND OF THE MUMMY THAT REMAINS WITH ITS EYES
OPEN
It is said that there was a friar who wore a worn habit and wore humble sandals back in the days
when the religious fulfilled the obligations of their ministry more severely. Furthermore, it is
stated that he lived a life full of austerity and sacrifice, to the extent that he constantly wore a
hair shirt* around his waist under his clothes. This priest was very loved for his virtues, as he
consoled the poor and strengthened the weak.

Once while crossing the Plaza del Baratillo, he bumped into a guy who had a reputation for
being an incredulous, who gave him a push, while he said this expression to the venerable old
man: - I bet Father Don (so-and-so) doesn't dare to have a drink with me. The minister, with all
humility, answered: -Thank you, son, and may God forgive you- and continued on his way
indifferently.

Even in a state of intoxication, the subject was able to realize, to his astonishment, that the priest
did not touch the ground with his feet, that he only slid at a certain height from the pavement. At
the moment he thought it was a hallucination caused by the drink, but looking more closely, he
realized that it was more like a shadow, filling him with fear.

The event happened without further ado, a few days later the character in this story, being a
miner, suffered an accident at work, along with other colleagues. Feeling on his deathbed, he
cowered and begged for a father to be brought to him because he was going to die. His
companions brought him the priest.

"Father," he said with a broken and weak voice, "I accuse myself of having once disrespected a
priest and of having mocked him." "Yes," answered the friar, "that's me." The dying man
shuddered with terror, and with his eyes wide open, staring at the religious man, he breathed his
last.

They say that among the mummies in the pantheon, there is the one that belongs to that miner
and that preserves the expression of horror on its face, with its eyes wide open, since they assure
that no one was able to close them after his death.
