    ENGLISH
    1. Learn and write ques/ans of all the chapters in a beautiful handwriting .
    2. Learn two new words everyday with meanings and frame sentences .
    3. Write a beautiful poem /slogans/quotations/riddles on A4 size sheet.
    4. To improve reading skills, take pre-reading of next two lessons of course book.
    5. To enjoy your vacations, visit some interesting place with your family members and write your experience

    1 पंडित नेहरू जी की तस्वीर बनाकर या चिपका कर बाल दिवस पर अनुच्छे द लिखें।
    2 रामायण के कु छ पात्रों के नाम लिखिए और अपने पसंदीदा पात्र के बारे में लिखिए।
    3 पाँच स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के चित्र चिपका कर पाँच - पाँच पंक्तियाँ लिखकर प्रोजेक्ट बनाएँ।

    2. A person bought a safe which can only be unlocked by entering a 2- digit
    secret code. After some time, he forgot the secret code of his safe.
    However , he remembers some numbers that could be the secret code.
    The secret code is one among the following numbers.
    5 , 17 , 29 , 22 , 11 ,26 , 27 , 35 , 39 , 41
    There are some clues to find the secret code of his safe.
    ❖ It is greater than 20.
    ❖ It is not a prime number.
    ❖ It is smaller than 40.
    ❖ It has 13 as one of its factors.
    ❖ It is an odd number.
    ❖ It has only 4 factors.
    3. Draw a magic square 3 X 3 such that the sum of each row, column and
    diagonal is 15.
    4. Do activities 3 ,4 ,5 of lab manual.
    5. Text book: Revise unit 1 to 3 in a separate notebook with examples and try these.

    SOCIAL SCIENCE
    1) Make a collage on “Unity in Diversity”.
    2) Fill a map of India with names of all the states with their capitals and paste it on A4 sheet.
    3) Watch the movie “Lagaan” and write a review on it on A4 sheet.
    4) Make a model on the topic given according to your Roll No.:-

    SCIENCE
    1)Go to a vegetable market with your elders. Collect a variety of modified roots such as
    beetroot ,carrot, radish,turnip and modified stems such as potato, ginger ,onion ,water chestnut etc. Study them
    closely at home . Find out the difference between them and write it in holidays homework notebook.
    2) Find out creative ways of reusing the waste items such as empty noodle cups ,used envelopes ,worn out
    jeans ,broken glass Bengal etc. Make some creative and attractive things from these wastes.
    3)Read the BookLife of Pi authored by Yann Martel or see the movie ‘Life of Pi’. comment on it and also
    write its summary.
    4)What does your mother do with the extra food cooked at home? Does she throw it away or does she store it
    in the fridge .Write about it in your holidays homework notebook.
    5)Make a beautiful poster on the topic “clean environment, green environment” .
    6) Complete notebook work if pending and learn lesson 1,2 .Also do reading of lesson 3.
    Note- Avoid junk food ,drink plenty of water ,do regular exercise and morning walk in the holidays and stay
    healthy.
