Minutes of the 6th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cannery Site,
Polomolok, South Cotabato held at Sangguniang Kabataan Office on February 17, 2024- 9:00

I. CALL TO ORDER
1. The session was called to order at 9: 00 A.M. with SK Chairperson Hon. Mark
M. Saruda presiding.

II. ROLL CALL


2. The secretary was requested to do the roll call for all the members of the
Sangguniang Kabataan. All the Sangguniang Kabataan members were
present, thereby the Presiding Officer declared the session in a quorum.

III. OPENING PRAYER / THE PHIL. NATIONAL ANTHEM / SO. COTABATO

3. The opening prayer was led by Hon. Rechelle Ann Bucog and followed by the
Philippine National Anthem and South Cotabato Hymn led by Hon. Ana Liza
Sioson.

IV. READING OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES


4. The Presiding Officer requested the secretary to read the previous minutes of
the 5th Regular Session 2024 of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay
Cannery Site.
V. ACCEPTANCE OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES FOR CORRECTION
5. Hon. Kurt Cyril Cabugwas moved for the acceptance of the previous minutes
for corrections and duly seconded by Hon. Missy Dawn Panes.

VI. ADOPTION OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES


6. Hon. Rechelle Ann Bucog moved to adopt the previous minutes as no
correction and was duly seconded by the August body present.

VII. BUSINESS ARISES OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES


7. Hon. Ana Liza Sioson provided the August body with an update on the
completion of the MSU-SASE review. She mentioned that the post-test results
need to be examined within the week to finalize the master list of participants,
which will determine who will receive free lunch for completing the review
sessions. Additionally, she instructed the secretary to draft a communication
letter seeking additional sponsorship for juices. The presiding officer informed
the August body that the Office of the Punong Barangay has agreed to provide
transportation for the SK Council to MSU-GSC, the venue of the examination,
on January 25, 2024.

VIII. CALENDAR OF BUSINESS

a. The presiding officer informed the August body regarding the forthcoming State
of the Barangay Address of the first 100 days in office of Punong Barangay Hon.
Rogen Ermitano. The presiding officer informed the body to prepare the
following documents for the accomplishment report: Hon. Ana Liza Sioson for
MSU SASE Review, Hon. Missy Dawn Panes for Bible Month Celebration, Hon.
Kurt Cyril Cabugwas for Basketball Tryout, and the SK Secretary for other
important documents to be submitted. These documents should be accomplished
not later than Friday of the same week. Hon. Candy Louvien Alisbo suggested
wearing formal attire for the SOBA and the August body agreed.

b. Hon. Missy Dawn Panes reminded the August body about their assigned tasks.
The Secretary conveyed that the finalization of the Mission, Vision, Goals, and
Objectives of the SK office is underway. Additionally, Hon. Ana Liza Sioson
indicated that the core values are pending approval. Meanwhile, Hon. Missy
Dawn Panes mentioned that the citizen’s charter is also in the finalization stage.

VII. COMMITTEE REPORT / OTHER MATTERS


8. Hon. Rechelle Ann Bucog informed the August body that only two puroks
had provided the dates of their purok anniversaries. She stated that she would
request another update from those puroks that have not yet provided the
information.
9. The presiding officer urged the August body to prepare their program design
and detailed APP that includes their budget to be discussed next session.
10. Honorable Kurt Cyril Cabugwas proposed a First Aid Training program for
the Disaster Risk Reduction Committee. The details of the program are yet to
be discussed.
11. Hon. John Kenneth Ababon also suggested organizing clean and green
activities, such as tree planting and clean-up drives. The details of these
activities are to be finalized for further discussion.
12. There being no more concerns to be taken upon, Hon. Gisserie Tadem moved
to adjourn the session and was duly seconded by the august body present. The
session adjourned at exactly 12:00 noon.
