and responsible in today's global village; using appropriate strategies to
comprehend extended text types; using lexical and contextual cues to
understand unfamiliar words and expressions; using imperatives,
preposition, and appropriate and polite oral language, stance and behavior
in various information sharing formats.

First let’s study the preposition
of time, using at, on and in.

“at” is in specific time of the


day
Example:
I will go to the bed at 8:00 PM.
At is the preposition use to refer
8:00 PM which is the specific
time.

WHILE “on” is referring to the


days of the week, specific date
and special days.
For example:
They will announce the winners
on Friday.
On is the preposition used and
Friday is the day of the week. I eat my lunch at 12:00 PM.

- Christmas is special day.
And “in” is used when referring
to months years and seasons.

For example: His birthday is on March 1.

“at” is used when referring to an


address

For example:
Our school is located at Del Pilar
St. Pinamlayan Oriental
Mindoro.

The next preposition is “on”


It is used to refer streets and
avenues.
For example:
My convenient store is on
Gumamela street

You can find the museum on


Bonifacio avenue.
While the “in” refers to towns,
city, country and continent.

For example:
Aunt Lily is in Tagaytay.
The preposition “in” is used to
refer Tagaytay.
