Uses of schedule in measurement.
2 Substructure; Site Investigation
 Detail examination on the rules of measurement for substructure
works. Discussion includes general information required before Week 2
undertaking measurement under this heading.
 Information with regard to site investigation undertaken such trial pits
and boreholes, existence of services and ground water levels which
are affecting the contract are being discussed with example of
preamble clauses.
3 Substructure; Excavation Works
 Rules of measurement for excavation works, such as depth, starting
levels and types of excavation.
 Work examples on the types and measurement of excavation.
Week 3
 Class exercise on the measurement of the various types of
excavation.
 Detail examination on the rules of measurement for substructure
works.
