NARRATIVE REPORT
November 9, 2022

The SLAC for November commenced on November 9, 2022 and started at 8:00am.
The opening program begun by a prayer and followed by the Philippine National Anthem
through Audio Visual presentation. Next was the checking of attendance of the participants
by Mrs. Anabelle V. Bandelaria.

Mr. Emmanuel L. Delavin, School L&D Coordinator, officially started the program
by addressing the crowd in his opening remarks. He expressed his gratitude to LBES teachers
for participating in the SLAC so they revamp their teaching strategies and gain a better
understanding on DepEd’s goal of producing globalized educators. He then encouraged the
teachers to not take the seminar lightly but rather, treat it as an opportunity to build
professional development as well as intensify the camaraderie between the group.

In behalf of our School Principal, Mr. Reynante R. Espenilla, our School Brigada
Eskwela Coordinator gave his message to the participants. He emphasized the changing
trends in education every year and how each teacher is expected to equip themselves with
proper knowledge on how to better deal with 21st century learners. Teachers should strive to
be a facilitator and guide the pupils in an experiential learning.

Mr. Emmanuel Delavin introduced the facilitator of the day. She is Ms. Sherryl Dilao,
our ICT coordinator in the school. The topic assigned to her was about Inserting and
Formating Elements in Microsoft Word. Her topic was very helpful for us teachers since
Microsoft Word is one of the easiest and simplest tools that we use in teaching. We can now
make our lesson more engaging and more attractive. The morning session ended at 11:30 am
for the lunch break.

The afternoon session resumed at 1:00 pm. Participants were grouped by pair with
one laptop. Each group were asked to accomplish the activity in Microsoft Word following
the topic discussed by Ms. Dilao. She guided the participants in accomplishing their works.
Before the end of the session, participants were given an opportunity to ask questions that
could enhance their understanding of the topic discussed.

Mr. Delavin delivered his closing remarks and officially ended a productive and
meaningful SLAC at 4:00 pm.
