Proposal to Restructure Employee Benefits

As you know, this has been a tough year for our company, but instead of laying off
employees, we have decided to restructure some benefits to ease our budget and to bring
down operating costs. To that end, here are three different proposals to restructure
employee benefits:
 Increase co-pays/deductibles for employer-sponsored health plans.
 Change the employer contribution to retirement plans to 25% ONLY if the employee
uses the maximum contribution plan instead of the current matching program.
 Offer employees time off without pay instead of changing benefits.
I believe option three is the best one, but, naturally, I will support the boardʼs decision.
