Honourable, Chair and vice chair and fellow delegates,

The United Kingdom delegate is grateful and honoured to be a part of this prestigious first MONMUN
at the Palestine Montessori School. looking forward to contributing significantly to this discussion on
the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict by offering my solutions and responding to the queries.

As the United Kingdom delegation has been doing for the past few years, we have always taken a
stand against the horrifying global issues and have always been innovators in that space.

As many of us are aware, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has now escalated to levels never before
seen, particularly in the wake of the horrific events on October 7, when HAMAS carried out a vicious
terrorist attack on the Israeli side, setting off the conflict's final stages. Furthermore, the number of
mass killings of civilians by both sides, where we condemn all acts of violence against them, and is a
major cause for concern here in the UK.

As a leader in providing humanitarian aid, UK HERE has doubled the amount sent. We have also
collaborated with other nations close to Gaza to send aid, tripling their numbers because we feel that
no one should have to go through what they have and that this conflict must end permanently with
terms that provide safety for the Israeli side and the Palestinian civilians.

Our goal is to put an end to this ongoing conflict by establishing a sustainable cease-fire that will
allow us to provide aid to Gaza, free all innocent hostages, and force Hamas to leave the country. We
also hope to reach an agreement that will guarantee the return of Palestinian authority to Gaza and
provide Gaza with services and governance in exchange for an immediate cease-fire, which will
ultimately allow us to move towards a two-state solution.

We urge all delegates to join us in working towards a future where both Israelis and Palestinians can
live in peace, security, and prosperity.

Thank you.

And now the delegation of the united kingdom now yields the floor back to the chair .
