A.Part1:
I.ACCOMMADATION
1.Do you live in a house or an apartment?
When I was a child, I lived with my parents in a house. But now I live in an apartment. It’s in Go
Vap district.
2.How long have you lived in your house or apartment?
Just about 2 years I live in an apartment. It’s a good place to live and near to my university.
3.Who do you live with?
I am currently living with my friends in an apartment in the Go Vap district.
4.What is your favorite room where you live?
My favorite room is the bedroom. The reason is that it is the room which best shows my personality.
5. Is there anything you don’t like about where you live?
Well, my apartment is nice and comfortable, but the space is a bit small for me. I wish I had more
space.
7. What kind of place do you think you will live in in the future?
In the future, I wish I could live in a cozy and comfortable house in harmony with nature.

8. Would do you prefer to live in the city or the countryside?

I am a big fan of nature so I like living in the countryside,especially when I live with my family.

9. Do you have a garden?

Well, I’m currently living in an apartment in Go Vap district, there is no space for a garden in there.
However, at my parents house,I have a small garden to grow plants.

10.Do you live on your own?

Yes,I live on my own. It provides a sense of independence and allows me to create my own space

11.Is it better to live on your own or with other people?

The decision to live on your own or with other people on personal preferences. In my opinion I like
living alone because It provides a sense of independence and privacy.

My favorite room I spend most time is the bedroom. The reason is that it is the room which best
shows my personality.

13.Have you ever moved house?

Yes,I have.I have moved from Thu Duc city to Go Vap district for convenience in going to school.
II.HOBBIES AND INTERES
1.Have you got any hobbies?
Yes, I have various hobbies like riding bicycles, fishing and playing badminton with my friends.
2.Are there any hobbies you used to have that you don’t do anymore?
I used to have a passion for landscape painting, but as life gets busier ,I have less time for creative
activity.
3. Is there a hobby you would like to start?
Sure. I’m practicing the guitar, it brings joy and helps me relieve stress after stressful studying
hours.
4. What do you like to do at the weekend?
On weekends, I usually spend time with my friends and family, whether it's going out for a meal,
watching a movie together.

In my opinion, I like group activities with people .Participating in activities with others gives me a

I regularly exercise, at least four to five times a week. I usually go for a walk or do gym to help me

In my country, popular hobbies among young people include playing video games, use social media
platforms to connect with others.Older people like to watch TV and play chess,etc

One of my friends, whose name is Tin ,collects autographs of famous people- both local and
international.

When I arrive home after a day of studies or work, I usually take a some time to relax by listening
to music and doing a short exercise.

Yes, I don’t like reading books very much because it’s quite boring.Instead of, I often watch forums
to expand my perspective and social knowledge.

III.CELEBRATION
1.Do you like going to parties?
Yes I do,.To me, these are the times for us to enjoy ourselves and tighten our relationships.
2. When was the last party you went to?
The last party I attended was in November of last year.I attended the party to congratulate my
brother on graduating from college.
3. What kind of things do people celebration in your country?
In my country,people celebration a variety of events and traditions.Festivals like Lunar New
Year.Additionally,personal milestones such as birthday and wedding are joyously celebration.
4. Have you been to a wedding?
Yes I have,Being a social person, I love attending functions. I have been to many weddings of my
relatives and close friends.
5. What do you like to do at parties?
I like music and dancing add to the fun and help create a lively atmosphere.

As a child,my favourite party game was undoubtedly ‘music chairs’.The thrill of circling around the
chairs with music blaring,hoping to secure a seat when the music stopped ,created an exciting and
competitive atmosphere.

Being a sociable person, I often attend parties from media festivals such as Lunar New Year until
personal milestones such as birthday and wedding

The best food to serve at a celebration is ‘lau’.It includes a simmering pot filled with a flavorful
broth,accompanied by a variety of fresh vegetables, meats and noodles creates a festive and
interactive dining experience.
10.Have you had a party in your house?
Yes I have,my house organizes many different parties in a year from media festivals such as Lunar
New Year until personal milestones such as birthday and wedding
11. Which famous person would you most like to invite to a party?
If I could invite any famous person to a party, It would be MT because I’m a big fan of her. Her
music nourished my childhood and I still miss it to this day.
IV. TRAVEL
1.Do you like to travel?
Yes, I do. You know, it’s a great way to relax and relieve stress. Usually, I go on a trip on national
holidays when I have lots of time on my hand.
2.Have you ever lived in another country?
No,I have never lived in another country.I have always lived in my hometown and I haven't had the
opportunity to live abroad.
3.What do you like to do on holiday?
During holidays, I like to go travelling, just as many other young people, which is pretty necessary
to life experience .
4.Do you prefer lying on the beach or sightseeing?
I prefer lying on the beach because lying on the beach is a serene escape,where the rhythmic sounds
of the waves and the warmth of the sun create a tranquil atmosphere .
5.Which country would you most like to visit?
I’m gonna talk about the country I love to visit, which is Japan. I have been a big fan of anime when
I was a student in high school.
6.Do you have many tourists where you live?
Certainly yes,HCM has a lot of tourist attractions which are really worth coming. Thanks to
convenient bus routes, I can get tourists to travel around where I live.
7. What is the most interesting place you’re ever visited?
The most interesting place I’ve ever visited is Hoi An.It’s charming streets adorned with colorful
lanterns,well-preserved architecture create a delightful and culturally rich atmosphere.
8. Do you like to buy souvenirs?
Yes I do, because each item holds a unique story and cultural significance making them more than
just mementos.
9. Are you going on holiday this year?
Yes ,I plan to go to Da Lat with my friends after the exam. Part of it is to relax and it's been a long
time since we've gone out on holiday.

Yes I do,I thoroughly enjoy travelling on my own.It provides a sense of freedom and self-discovery.

My favourite way of travelling is on a motorbike.The exhilarating feeling of the open road ,the wind
rushing past and the freedom to explore scenic routes make it a memorable experience.
V.STUDYING
1. Do you enjoy studying English?
Yes, I like learning English because in the era of international integration, English becomes a means
of communication and getting a good job.
2. Have you got a favourite room to study in at home?
Yes,I have. At home, I have a room dedicated to studying, with a desk, chair, bookcase, computer
and especially it has many large windows for light.
3. What time of day is your best time for studying?
In my opinion, the most effective study times are from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 10 pm.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., study subjects related to memorization. In addition, from 4pm to 10pm are
subjects related to calculation.
4. Do you like to study online?
Yes. In my opinion, online learning is quite good because online learning also makes us feel
comfortable because the home environment always creates a sense of creativity and less pressure
than in school.
5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of studying online?

daunting and off-putting as it revolves around data analytic.

I usually spend 3 days a week learning English. On average, I spend about 8 hours a week learning
vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading and practicing speaking English.
8. Have you studied English in a class?
Yes,I have. Every week I have 2 English lessons at school with Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet. We learn a lot
about listening, speaking, reading, writing as well as vocabulary and grammar.
9. Have you tried studying with other people?
Yes,I have always practiced speaking English with my friends. It helps us improve together and
share experiences in learning English.
10. Do you prefer studying alone or with other people?
I prefer studying with friends I believe that studying with friends is the most valuable way to learn.
Not only do we share knowledge with each other, but we also assist one another in overcoming our
weak points.
11. Which area of English do you find most difficult?
The Listening section is the difficult part for me when learning English. It requires me to have a
large vocabulary, understanding natural speech patterns and picking up nuances in conversation can
be quite difficult.
12. Is the internet always useful for studying?
Yes, the Internet provides me with a lot of resources to study. Besides. The Internet provides access
to vast amounts of information, educational platforms, and interactive tools that can enhance the
learning experience.
13. Is there a subject you would like to study?
Yes,English has always fascinated me and I really want to learn more about this subject. Learning
English can open up many opportunities, both improving my personal knowledge and benefiting my
future endeavors.

PART 3. A trip to London
A. Next month our class is going to London, I feel very excited and let's choose interesting places
when we get there.
B. That's a good idea, To be honest, one of the best parts of a trip to London is going to theme park.

A. Yes, I think so too. But it's expensive there and you can go to the theme park in any city. Let's

A: To be honest, one of the activities to celebrate a special occasion is a music festival. Here,
everyone can sing and dance together.Moreover, we can use music to create a happy atmosphere in

B: Yes, I think too. But the tickets can be expensive and overcrowded. Especially, many people in
the team dislike noisy to talk with friends. Why don't we see a comedian? This place help us
entertain after hard studying hours.
A: I agree with you to a point; However, in the comedy there are adult words and actions that are
not suitable for teenagers. What about discos?
B:Not really because many people can get headaches because the music is too loud and there are
too many unhealthy things there

Yes, I think children should be taught about healthy eating so they know what is good for them and
what harmful and learn how to cook easy and healthy good.

Yes.In my free time, I usually go running with friends to keep my body healthy, enjoy the benefits
of running and relax.

No.I don't like eating fast food because I think it's unhealthy, it's doesn't taste good and can easily
make us fattens.

I think it is important for young people to learn to cook because learning to cook is like learning a
new skill, it helps me be independent and I can cook for friends and family, it's wonderful.

I think tourism in the city is important because it will help local businesses, make a place famous,

Yes, I like to visit new places to see, explore beautiful buildings, history and traditions. At the same
time, I can get to know a place art and culture.

In the city, I can enjoy all kinds of entertainment such as theaters, cinemas, restaurants, cafes,
amusement parks, concerts. All of them are wonderful.

If possible, I want to visit New York City because it is a shopping paradise, there are many
celebrities, there is the famous Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty.

I think it is not good for children to spend a lot of time using computers because it is bad for health,
eyes, headaches. Besides, children have too much time alone, no time to learning Social skills and
having a chat or proper conversation.
2. How important is it for young people to spend time with their friends?
It is very important for young people to spend time with friends, it is necessary to share problems,
help each other solve problems and learn social skills. Young people do not have a generation gap.
We can hang out, listen to music, play computer games, and chat with friends after school or on
weekends.
3. How has the way you spend your free time changed over the year?
Before, I mainly spend my free time playing games, but now I spend my free time studying more,
spending more time with friends and family, playing more sports, learning social skills.

It depends on my mood, sometimes I want to be alone, listen to music, read a books, play on
computer , use the internet sometimes I want to company have chat,have a laugh ,tell jokes,play
sport and walk with friends.

If we are with family, we often spend time participating in family activities, having meals, going on
a day trips, visiting relatives, and if we are with friends, we play games and chat together.

Yes, I am a member of the local volleyball club through which I learn new skills, practise
activities ,share common interests with people, create new things and have fun together.

Yes, to protect the environment I often use public transportation, carefully throwing out of
litter,walk to school ,do not waste water and food.
3. Do you think we should all be doing more environment activities?
I think we all should do more activities for the environment because the government cannot do
everything. Being responsible for the environment is also our rescue in the future and I believe that
everyday little changes make a different

I think the biggest environmental problem today is air pollution, land pollution and noise
pollution ,rubbish in sea and rivers that are killing animals and plants.

No, I think we need to be educated from a very young age.School and parents need to teach them.It
should become second nature for them to protect the environment.

Yes. I think students should work part-time in the summer because it helps students gain work
experience and earn extra money to support their studies. At the same time, it helps students make
new friends and gain confident

100 percent say yes. I want to be my own boss one day because I got to do whatever I want, employ
people I like, work from home and keep all the earning.

I want to make a lot of money, have job satisfaction and work with nice people, something creative,
not too stressful

I think working in a group will be better because I will have a nice colleagues working together,
helping each other out and learning from each other.

I prefer working indoors because the working environment is warm and comfortable, regardless of
the weather, but sometimes it's too hot, noisy and stuck with people you don't like.

Yes, it brings many interesting discoveries and experiences about different cultures and cuisines.

The most interesting place I visited was Da Lat. The most special thing here is the beautiful scenery,

I like traveling by road because I can plan where I want to go, control the trip, visit different places

Yes, I feel comfortable when traveling by train, I can look out the window and enjoy the scenery,

My favorite teacher is Ms. Viet an English teacher, she has a very cheerful personality, she helps
me a lot in reviewing for the midterm and final exams.

I think what makes a good teacher is good expertise, being funny, interesting, friendly and
empathetic to students, explaining everything clearly, being strict but not too strict.

yes, I want to become a teacher because I can help children, change someone's life, help children
solve problems, make them confident in themselves.
4. Which subject do you think is interesting?(why)
I found the digital pulse engineering subject very interesting because I learned a lot about digital
signal analysis, designing counter circuits, running LEDs and I gained many skills for my
automatic control major.

Yes, I think it is important for students to like their teachers because they need good
relationships, easy to talk to, not nervous or scared, friendly and trusting of each other, able to
talk about problems of the self you are encountering

Yes, I like to celebrate special occasions because that is when I have the chance to do something
