SBR LATEX ADDITIVE
FOR CEMENT MORTAR SYSTEMS
WHERE TO USE
Davco Lanko 751 Lankolatex is a flexible SBR additive designed for use with Lanko,
Davco and general mortar systems. Davco Lanko 751 Lankolatex provides improved
adhesive and compressive strength, water resistance and flexibility. It can also improve
workability to make mortars easier to mix and place.
Uses
Davco Lanko 751 Lankolatex may be used as an additive with Lanko cement based
technical mortars, in particular mortars for screeding, rendering, patching and repair.
Davco Lanko 751 Lankolatex can be used in conjunction with neat cement as
a bonding coat prior to the application of any mortar system. Davco Lanko 751
Lankolatex can also be used as an additive for any of Davco’s range of cement based
tile adhesives and grouts.

MIX PREPARATION
Mix Process
For addition in screeds and mortars, Davco Lanko 751
Lankolatex must be thoroughly blended to a dilute solution prior
to addition into the mortar mix:
1. For addition to screeds, mix 1 part Lanko 751 Lankolatex to 3
parts water.
2. For addition to general mortars, mix 1 part Davco Lanko 751
Lankolatex to 2 parts water.
Once the solution is blended, mix with the screed / mortar
additive at the appropriate ratio of liquid to powder.
For use as a bonding agent, neat Davco Lanko 751 Lankolatex is
mixed with cement:

• It is recommended that applicators wear PVC or similar gloves
and safety goggles while handling this product
• Keep out of reach of children. If eye contact occurs, rinse with
cool water
• If ingested get immediate medical assistance
General
• Do not allow the product to freeze.
• Do not use the product in temperatures below 50ºC or above
350ºC.
• The addition of Davco Lanko 751 Lankolatex can reduce the
working time of the mortar.
