Hi there, Miss i must say, I'm impressed with the level of detail and thought

you've put into your teaching vision board. Your use of color, graphics, and
clear organization is fantastic. I'm excited to delve into your vision.
BEFORE THE LESSON

May I ask some questions to understand your thought process about your
teaching vision board. Let's start with the Assessment.

 1. I see you included an assessment in your teaching vision board

may you please ellaborate on how are you planning to use
assessment to assess your student understanding before the
lesson?

-Before the lesson, I plan to use formative assessment strategies such as pre-
tests, concept maps, or KWL charts to gauge students' prior knowledge and
understanding of the internal structure of the Earth. Through formative
assessment strategies, I will be able to observe students' responses, listen to
their explanations, and analyze their interactions with the classroom
resources (such as the model and egg) to assess their understanding of the
internal structure of the Earth.

 2. How do you plan to promote communication and collaboration

among students before the lesson starts?

-To promote communication and collaboration among students before the

lesson, I will organize a group discussion or a think-pair-share activity where
students can share their existing knowledge about the Earth's layers. Using
the jigsaw method, students can work together to piece together information
and build a comprehensive understanding of the topic.

 3. How have you prepared the classroom resources to support the

learning objectives of the lesson?

-The classroom environment will be set up with the necessary resources such
as the egg model, diagrams, and jigsaw materials to support the learning
objectives of the lesson. Clear instructions and visual aids will be displayed to
guide students through the lesson.

- I would prepare a set of flashcards that feature key terms, concepts, and
diagrams related to the Earth's layers. These flashcards would include terms
such as crust, mantle, outer core, inner core, along with brief descriptions or
characteristics of each layer. Additionally, I would create flashcards with visual
representations of the Earth's structure, allowing students to associate the
layers with their respective positions and properties.

 4. What technologies will you incorporate into the lesson to engage

students in the learning process?

- I plan to incorporate technology by using educational videos, interactive

simulations, or online resources to provide students with a visual
representation of the Earth's structure. This will enhance their understanding
and engagement with the topic.

AFTER THE LESSON

 1. Assessment:
- Was the assessment methods used effectively during the lesson ?

The assessment was indeed effectively during the lesson. As a teacher,

conducting formative assessments after the lesson on the topic of internal
structure of the Earth provides valuable feedback and outcomes that guide my
teaching practice and support student learning. Through the implementation
of the formative assessment I got to understand that there are still areas of
confusion that need to be improved. I evaluated that through formative
assessment during the lesson by reviewing student responses, analyzing their
understanding of the Earth's layers and characteristics. The Common
indicators of confusion that I observed was the Incorrect labeling or placement
of Earth's layers on the model or diagram. Some learners were mostly
confused and wondering how come a crust described as liquid while the core
is described as being solid.Inconsistent explanations or misconceptions about
the characteristics of each layer.Lack of engagement or participation during
discussions or activities related to the Earth's structure.
Questions or requests for clarification on key concepts or terminology.I
incorporated the flashcards as my formative assessments or review sessions
to test students' retention of the material covered in the lesson. By revisiting
the flashcards in subsequent lessons or quizzes, I can assess students'
progress.

 2. Communication and Collaboration

- Reflect on how communication and collaboration among students
contributed to the overall learning experience and achievement of
lesson objectives.

-Communication and collaboration among students contributed to the

learning experience, I will assess how well students shared information,
collaborated on tasks, and supported each other's learning. This will help me
understand the impact of collaborative activities on achieving the lesson
objectives.

 3. Classroom Resources
-How have you prepared the classroom resources to support the
learning objectives of the lesson?

-During the lesson I prepared the classroom resources to support the learning
during the lesson.Binging an egg and a model into attention made learners to
understand the layers of the Earth effectively through the use of the model
and egg. The hands-on nature of the activity allowed students to physically
interact with the materials, manipulate the components, and observe the
different layers firsthand. This experience helped solidify their understanding
by engaging multiple senses and learning styles.

-Furthermore, the visual aspect of the demonstration provided a clear and

vivid representation of the Earth's structure, enabling students to visualize the
complex layers in a simplified and accessible format. By linking the physical
attributes of the model and egg to the theoretical concepts discussed in the
lesson, students were able to make meaningful connections and deepen their
comprehension of the topic through the resources.

 4. ICT Incorporation
-What were some of the biggest challenges or successes you
encountered when implementing technology?

-Due to a technical issue with the connection, I regret to inform you that I
was unable to display a video as part of incorporating technology to illustrate
more details about the internal structure of the Earth during the lesson.
Despite the initial plan to use a video resource to provide a visual
representation and enhance students' understanding of the Earth's layers, the
connectivity problem hindered the execution of this aspect of the lesson.
-

-In response to this challenge, I adapted by utilizing alternative methods

such as verbal explanations, and hands-on activities with the egg model and
jigsaw puzzle to convey the information effectively.
