Course Synopsis
exposed to the internal electrical installation design and installation in compliance with national and international electrical code of practices and standards. For the maintenance proposes the student will be taught on the electrical failures, fault finding and analysis, trouble shooting and restoration of supply. The students are also exposed to the modern concept of smart and intelligent building through existing model smart buildings locally and internationally. The emphasis of this programme is an integrated approach, toward achieving smart / intelligent building concept by taking into consideration the energy efficiency and saving, Building Automation System (BAS), Energy Management System (EMS), Agronomics, Environmental Management System (EMS) Learning Outcomes At the end of the course, students will be able to integrate various building services related to electrical installations, concepts and requirements in compliance to the rules and regulations, code of practices and related national, international standards and relevant technical specifications. Able to integrate smart/ intelligent building concept by incorporating the aspect of building automation system, energy efficient equipment, energy saving and energy management system.
